Hello! We have released Nine Biomes, a small illustrated fantasy tower-defense art/layout pack for developers prototyping a 2D TD scene.

The $1 pack contains nine 1672 × 941 PNG backgrounds, approximate JSON route data, 45 suggested tower anchors, an offline HTML art viewer and a Godot source-project example tested in Godot 4.5.1 on macOS.
The environments are autumn orchard, marsh, snow, sandstone canyon, coast, glowing mushroom cavern, lava badlands, crystal ruins and a dusk citadel.
Try it before buying: the free forest sample includes the same shared tower/character style and a one-map Godot example.
This is an art/layout prototype, not a complete TD game. There is no combat, waves, collision or placement system. The five base towers, three enemies and one boss are reused from Level 01; character animation is right-facing walk only. Routes need adjustment for your game.
AI disclosure: graphics were generated using OpenAI tools; text, code and metadata are AI-assisted. These are not hand-drawn assets. The included license permits non-exclusive use in personal and commercial end products, with no standalone asset resale.
For developers who try the free sample: is the route/anchor JSON straightforward to integrate, or would a specific example make it easier?
