Saw it from your channel, fun game loop and great pixel art! Keep making videos!

Thank you very much! Your game was really cool too!

Ahh yes, tried getting as best of a level curve that I could do but there's definitely not enough levels to bridge the gaps between the elements before you get to the very end. Always something to work on in the next jam!

Hahaha yup I've been getting a lot of mobile players on my games recently. I'll have to make them more mobile friendly next time!

156 on 4 key! Actually such a cool idea I'd love to get more songs into there, also a way to rebind keys would be great, trying to use 1234 instead of my usual "dfjk" is way less comfortable but i understand since there's multiple different piano types which is also such a nice touch! Cool game!

Thank you very much! This is the first time I've implemented playtesting and it really helped me to make the game more understandable once you get to the complex levels. I'm happy you like it!

Thank you very much! I very well might continue it on, figuring out levels is a bit of a pain but I'm sure with enough time and added mechanics there's a lot that could be added!

For some reason after the second level it all went dark and I couldn't do anything, I would of expected it to be the ending but you do say about having 5 levels. Regardless of that though. the atmosphere and music is amazing! It looks very polished and the music is insane, did you do it yourself? The only gripe I would have (apart from that one bug, if it even is a bug and I wasn't just missing something), would be that there isn't much gameplay to go along with it, although I'm sure the dash you talk about getting later on would of helped with that!

Such a cool idea! I feel like it's already hard enough trying to figure out what to shoot, maybe giving the player a few more movement options like speeding up/slowing down would be good cause otherwise it's really hard to get even a single line (at least for me lol). I also encountered a bug where a piece spawned in and instantly killed me mid-way through game but I understand the collisions for this game would of been a lot to make in such a short time span. But overall, really cool concept and I think you should keep going on it! Maybe let the player move around and make it a cool mobile game!

Woah such a cool concept! Good job!

Thank you! I thought the idea might be a bit simple but I was able to slowly ramp it up into hard levels which I'm quite happy about!

Thank you!

I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for playing!

Thank you so much! I'll upload a video guide just so that everybody can see how the levels can be done for those curious. If other people share the sentiment of wanting it continued then I'll certainly look into it!

Thank you! Was one of the first things I could think of that I didn't think many other people would go for, I'm happy you like the theme!

Was very fun to watch you play it live, thank you so much! I'll be looking into the blue bug possibly after this jam ends to make a (hopefully), bug-free version of the game, and in there I'll definitely add in the need to click away the hints for each level, especially since they explain basically all the mechanics and some people may not even be seeing them!

Thank you very much! Tried to make it challenging and not too hard so I'm glad you enjoyed the difficulty!

Such a chill vibe! Reminds me of those games were you can just lock into it very late into the night and relax. I wasn't able to full screen the game as every time I'd open the game it'd take my cursor, even when trying to press the fullscreen button but the actual controls of the game were good once I read the cool wall panels to learn how to get out of the machines (great use of the wildcard there!), and with that really being the only complaint you did a really good job on this jam! This also may or not not of been my first time ever actually playing asteroids so there's always a plus for that =)

Would of tried to add more if I started the jam earlier, but I'm happy you enjoyed the small amount I managed to make!

Ah yes probably a better idea than what I have going! Currently the idea was to make players have to time whenever they look back up to make add in some extra challenge, but if I just added in that little bit of vision for strangers, it probably would of been a much nicer mechanic to use. Thanks for the feedback!

Oh thank you! I feel like the art is the least interesting part of the game but happy you like it! And about the levels, I was trying to make sure it was a gradual increase instead of big jumps, so there's a few easier "tutorial" levels in here for new mechanics that bolster out the level count and maybe could of been implemented better, but idk lol. Thanks for the kind words and thanks for playing!

Ah yes, thought it'd be interesting to give people something to remember if they wanna retry to get the S rank, but ended up not making the S ranks matter as much as they could of. Plus, a tell would of been a good idea to make it more fair! Thanks for playing regardless!

Ahh yes, I never thought about it for mobile so sadly didn't add in any controls for it, but thanks for playing!

True actually, just taking the deaths into account would make sense but I wanted to make sure that if people slow down in places that they technically don't need to, then they wouldn't be able to get the highest rank. But in the end I don't think any of the levels currently in the game would even be beatable if you slowed down in places you don't need to! Regardless, thank you for playing!

Thank you for playing! Hope it wasn't too much of a difficulty jump as game progressed!

Thank you! Had to make sure I didn't make it too hard, quite a few times I had to tone it back so it wouldn't be instant reactions!

That music goes so unbelievably hard omg, and the flashlight feel so smooth in-game even though it's just following the mouse. The graphics are also so well polished, you did a very good job on this game jam!

Short and bittersweet, perfect little narrative to tell for a game jam! Music fits really well too, good job on your first narrative game!

Cool story and good polish! I really like the sounds that the chest makes whenever you're opening it, great sound design there. Luckily I watched your tutorial video and didn't have any problems thinking it was poison but I definitely would of if I hadn't lol

I got to 17/17 and instantly died, 10/10 would minigame again! Nah but in all honestly great job on the level of polish for it being your first public game! The minigames and fun and simplistic and the fact that you can just barely hear the sound of the monster coming for you when you got the music on is a nice touch that really helps the horror aspect, the jumpscare looks great too and got me every time I lost!

May of took me a while but finally got all 6 levels complete! Really cool concept and the music is really good too for a puzzle game like this so good job! I definitely think the explanation of the mechanics could be better told (somehow), like I have so many questions even after finishing the game, like are turtles supposed to move everytime you look away or only some of the time, and then does it matter which way you look away from a turtle to kinda decide it's next position (I understand that you can't look at the turtle or the position it'd be teleporting to but for that final turtle stairway level i swear no matter where i looked they'd just not teleport so I had to keep restarting the level just to get them "working" again). But that aside, cool game and glad to of finished it!

Such a well made game for just a week! Once it gets going and you get 3 customers at once, it gets really hectic and really fun, I could see myself playing a full version of this game with some upgrades and need for the tip money!

Oh true I never even though about the actual meaning of ouroboros, that makes a lot more sense now! (I was just thinking of the ship from Half-Life lmao)

Thanks so much for playing the game! Yeah, the balancing is way off I agree, and more combo's are definitely going to come in updates! The lack of time for it really pulled back on my ability to playtest and add in extra content, there were a few enemy types I really wanted to add but just couldn't sadly! The multiple stages of growth is actually a really interesting idea that somehow never really crossed my mind, I've kinda had complete tunnel vision to just finish the game, let alone some cool extra bits haha. And the pixel size is definitely very inconsistent! Everything in there is a different size and my lack of understanding on game art definitely is what got in the way there, I'll keep updating and like you say, growing!

Aw yeah, I didn't get much time to properly playtest without using dev tools to speed up the process, so I didn't realise how long it would actually take in-between rounds to get to the greenhouse. Rest assured the fix is already made and will be uploaded to the post-jam version once the voting period is over!

Sounds like a great idea, I just checked out your game there and I can definitely see potential with new levels!

A cool way to interpret the theme! I love the frog sprite and animations, they're very clean! I did encounter a way to get out of the map for the second level as there's a gap in the blocks that I don't think are intentional? But apart from that, it's a cool concept for a game! Definitely keep going with the idea and make more! (And I did also, immediately laugh the second I realised it was icon.svg, such a great use for it lol)

And if you stream for long enough to get past all those games! https://procrastinationstation.itch.io/flies-flies-everywhere

Simple yet effective! Once I figured out that click was to jump around and not slide on the floor it was really fun lol. I agree with the comment from Kyle Lewis too, the start is fun and once it starts going faster it gets more fun, so maybe make it get faster quicker!
