Thanks for noting that. Took care of that in the latest version, 0.4.2. Fixed now!

Hi everyone! I've just released The Quantum World, a free, story-driven science mystery you play right in your browser on desktop or phone.
▶ Play it here: https://proan.itch.io/the-quantum-world
You're the newest investigator at the Institute for Fundamental Inquiry. A mysterious narrator called the Archivist hands you real experiments (glowing ovens, photoelectric cells, gold foil, electron beams) and the questions that broke physics a century ago.
Before every experiment, you make a prediction and bet XP on it. Call it right, and you rise through the ranks. Get it wrong, and you watch classical physics fall apart in front of you, then win XP back by revising your model.
It's in early access. Chapter Five, "Spooky Action at a Distance", is in development. I'd love your feedback in the game's comments, especially on difficulty, the wager system, and how it plays on phones.
Thanks for reading!
Thanks for playing, and for such clear notes! You're right on both. The finish jingle steps down in pitch, which sounds like failing, so I'm swapping it for a rising one. And "spooking" was the wrong picture. What really happens: a weigher checks its rooms by lifting the relics, which breaks their seals, and a sealer resealing a room shifts its weight. So each kind of guard's rounds look like trouble to the other kind's charm. Share one room, and that's a false alarm all night. Share two, and the disturbances cancel out, like two thievesin "Two Touches". I'm rewriting that tutorial to say so. Both fixes will be in the next build.

Hi all! I've just put up an early build of The Vault, a free browser puzzle game you can play on a phone orcomputer.
Play it here: https://proan.itch.io/the-vault
The idea
You protect relics that nobody is allowed to look at. Thieves and forgers creep in at night, and you can't open the rooms to check. You can hire guards: weighers and sealers who each watch a few rooms and ring a charm when something is off. Place them well, and every raid gives itself away. Place them badly and a crew slips through unseen.

What's in this build
- 20 handmade vaults, from a single room to a ring that wraps around
- Nightfall: watch each raid play out, and see exactly how a crew got in
- Hints that point the way without giving the answer
- Made for phones as much as for desktop, with no download or sign-up
It's still in development, and feedback helps most right now. If you give it a try, I'd love to hear:
- Where did you get stuck, and did a hint get you moving again?
- After a raid, was it clear how the crew got in?
- Which vault did you enjoy most?
- On a phone, was anything too small or hard to tap?
Reply here or leave a comment on the game page. I read everything, and I'm adding vaults and polish as I go.
Thanks for playing!
