Oh not at all! 

The style is loosely based on early 18th century with some conlang I created thrown into the mix. You can say the world is inspired by the Germany in that era.

It’s an intentional choice, not something I would change stylistically for the first few chapters. But I get it lol! It’s not always everyone’s preference. I still aim for readability overall hahaa

Next update will have the prelude be polished as I’m reworking some plot points and prose.

From a writing standpoint, I’m using a style similar to the time period but I can see where you’re coming from.

However, I’ve been receiving a lot of speculation about my nationality, and kindly ask that these types of comments not be sent.

As for the bottom banner, normally it won’t cover the choices when tested so that’s weird. I will look.
