can you Beat my record of 110 seconds? Was a smal „just for fun“ project that is now published on Google Playstore and Itch

I just released my very first game on Itch.io and Steam!

First of all: Game Design is currently even more a hobby of mine.

Besides my main job as a design engineer, I worked on the game on my free evenings and weekends. When I started the project, I had mostly only knowledge of 3D modeling, Unity and especially programming I was still a beginner. I fought my way through countless tutorials and forums, spent whole evenings fixing problems. There were moments when I thought I wouldn't continue or thought I would never finish it anyway.

And now the time has come. The game is finished. I think for my first project that I did from the beginning, from the first cube in Blender to the last step of pressing the "Publish" button, it's not bad at all.

As soon as I'm done, I have the next idea in my head, which I want to start (the game design got me).

To all of you who are thinking about starting with game design I can only recommend it. It's anything but easy, but it's a lot of fun (sometimes ;)).

How are you doing with game development? Does everything always go according to plan? What do you find difficult?

For me personally, the creative part was the pleasant part of the work. I had problems with the technical part, especially the whole procedure with Steam integration and all the rather technical scripts. (I have to add that English is not my native language) But once you go through everything, it's not a big deal anymore.
