Hey! Could you explain a little more about the bug? Was it from the very start of the game? And was it keyboard inputs that prevented mouse movement, or mouse clicks? We've not been able to replicate the bug so it'd be good to have more info! :) Nevertheless, I'm so grateful that you continued to play regardless, it really means a lot! <3

Hey! I really like the aesthetics and the investigative whodunnit gameplay - but I think I experienced a bug? I tried to play twice and got a bug on the fourth dialogue option for Vancouver and another character (possibly Dow) where I selected it but then no text box appeared and I had to refresh the page and start again :(

Gorgeous art! I know this would entail a lot of changing to the gameplay, but I could totally see this as a turn-based game with a grid system - like Fire Emblem or Advance Wars. Something about the top down style and four different types of magic just seems to lend themselves to that sort of tactical style in my mind! :)

I also didn't know that about the hotkeys, maybe it's just a Chrome thing? Either way, it took me by surprise haha! I got around it by doing just as you said, making sure I was strategically stood still before using the ability :) I managed to save the bard! The other two sadly were REALLY keen on falling in the bog ^^;; Even though it's hard, I find myself wanting to play more - I definitely think I'll come back to it once I've played a few more of the other jam entries and see if I can save either of the other two! <3

I really enjoyed this! I'm a huge fan of deckbuilder games and tower defences, so the genre mash-up of the two really appeals to exactly my brain! The writing was also very charming, and I love the Norwich landmarks in the background of the scene :'D I would play so many more levels of this, given the chance!!

Hey, I really enjoyed this! As another commenter said, it has early Zelda dungeon vibes, and I loved the word puzzle :)

This game is so moreish! Alas, despite many, many attempts, I was only able to lead one soul to salvation (●´∧`●) I also discovered that apparently Ctrl + W closes all active tabs, which made using the pulse a bit troublesome!

Justice for the goblins! No man should hoard so much wealth. That's why I personally let the goblins take so much ;)

This is so well designed, and the music is great, too!

I think this game is really promising, kind of reminds me of early low-poly indie horror games, and I like how the golems start as boulders and then all form together! Sadly I think the final (?) boss is bugged, I got to a clearing with no way of progressing, a health bar appeared, but no creature!

I also think the map could be scaled down to create less time walking between encounters and give players a heightened sense of unease. :)

Beautiful art, infuriatingly difficult gameplay to master! Convinced I would do better without my partner holding me back, I loaded up a solo game and was swiftly humbled u_u

I got thrown off more than a few times by the grab handles disappearing and reappearing from one car to the next and that apparently not being the correct anomaly, but otherwise I really like the concept - I think you could make it way spookier, too >:)

I LOVE the art style and colour palette; couldn't figure out how to get the peridae to stay on the board even with a tree and bush in play. Please put me out of my misery, what's the strategy?

Some health regen drops would be cool to add if you wanted to work on this further! Aside from this, I loved all the Happy Gilmore references :)

This was so fun!

Is there supposed to be audio? When I played it was silent and I wanted to double check I wasn't missing out. Aside from that: I'm thoroughly obsessed with all the stylistic choices you made here

The horse doing the akira slide and the horses "popping" off the top at the end absolutely killed me, this is such a slick game!

The visuals, music, and the difficulty level really invoke that classic nostalgic arcade machine game feel, and the way you interpreted the loop mechanic makes the game difficult to put down!

A delightfully eerie whodunnit, I love the visual style you chose for this, and the way you made it easy to go back and "remember" (replay) the night's events in whatever order necessary.

I am terrible at it, but I really like the idea - especially the way it keeps the player inputs from previous instruments when you're working on the later ones. :) Really cool interpretation of the theme!

The colour palette and art style of this game are lovely! Juxtaposing such a cute visual style with a quite pessimistic topic is such a cool choice; I also think the sound effects worked well, all the little beeps and boops definitely made me want to keep clicking, much like the techniques social media uses to get me to keep scrolling...

Just wanted to chime in and say I agree with everything you said! Really lovely game, and I could totally see it becoming much more puzzling with more furniture combos, colours, etc!

This is honestly such high praise! I have to reiterate again how much I loved your game, so I'm really pleased that you liked mine! :') <3

This game has a lot of potential, reminds me of Vampire Survivors! I think some balancing might be needed (the minotaur OHKO'ed me after running in from off-screen super fast a few times!) and some more UI (like evidence of how much damage the barrels and cacti do to the enemies), but the fact that you made this in just over 24 hours and that it's your first jam is really cool!

I played this until LONG after the counter maxed out at 99. Would absolutely play more of this!!

I love the past selves mechanic, it's so clever! I also think the way you introduce mechanics a bit at a time is really good game design, especially when you have to go back and do the deja vu level with tighter time constraints!

fr though this was SO fun to play - I can't believe you did all of this in four days! I love the creatures, the art is adorable, I love the little bug noise. However, eventually my lasso stopped deploying and I couldn't work out how to fix it, so I had to stop playing. Idk if that was a glitch or not, but either way I thought I'd mention it. It's the only reason I stopped playing before finding a Legs Benedict!

Would die for Norbit. Did die for Furious Trilos... several times T_T

I found the secret item and I have questions

Idk if I was supposed to know this already or whether it was a clever loophole because I'm a genius, but once I figured out I could game the system by buying paper and ink in bulk I was minted. Basically I now think I'd be an extremely good counterfeiter. New career??

Oh no - the third character is supposed to be the same person, I did spend a lot of time wondering if the link was clear enough! Thank you for your feedback and lovely comments! <3

This is actually our first game jam, so any references to previous jams are entirely a coincidence! About the itch description - damn I thought I was being subtle :')

Thank you! :3

Thank you so much!

Yessss thank you so much!

That's very kind, thank you so much :')

This was my first game jam and all the advice I read said "people will only spend about five minutes playing a game jam game" - so how did I just look up at the clock and realise I'd spent nearly an hour playing this??? Not only is the art super cute (prints plz), but I love how each mechanic is introduced bit-by-bit before building up to the really complex stuff. <3

10/10 Game of the Year!

How did you come up with this idea? It's so charming and silly, I love it! I also love that you have implemented a shop with upgrades. PS. birthday cake snake is best snake
