Dead Letters is a browser game where you're the new municipal records clerk for a Washington coastal town — population 340, or it was. A washout closed the only road in the week before your first day, so you do the job the only way left: dialing into the town's community bulletin board down a crackling phone line.
There's no objective list and no clock on screen. You read — community posts, classifieds, fire-department incident reports, a church newsletter — across four acts, toward one of two endings, shaped by what you read, reply to, and miss in time. It runs on a fully procedural amber CRT terminal, dial-up boot sequence included.

A complete mystery in about 2 hours. Atmospheric horror — no gore, no jump scares, just a town that already knows and is being very, very polite about it. Feedback welcome, especially on pacing and the endings.
