Jump in my Discord (link above) and tell me about your self and your gear. A sample would help, or we can wait to chat.

The project is https://plants-by-fred.itch.io/streamer-chat-farkle
It is  currently playable in testing and RO mode, and it will be the announcer I am after. (toggleable in the testing panel, F12)
If you play the game, you can toggle the current AI announcer and sort of see what I was after.  Be aware that the AI is horrible and only there for timing and runtime testing.
The game has several events during play. When an event happens, the announcer comments.
I have a prelim script that is open to improvement and welcome suggestions.
It is the attitude of the announcer that I have been having trouble finding. I am after a cheeky and bombastic fellow pushing buttons. Partly as comedy, partly as distraction.
If you can pull off a "Howard Stern"/"Rodney Dangerfield"/ "Al Bundy" sort of "poke em in the eye" sort of feel but subtle and veiled so the participants aren't really sure if they have been insulted or supported, I would be ecstatic.

I am aware that this has significant dependence on the actual script content, so again, open to suggestions.

This platform is difficult to work in, so here's my Discord server. We can continue there if you want to play.

Thanks for the offer.
John.

If you have ever wanted to try voice acting, here's a chance.
If you are a good storyteller and an emotive speaker, let's talk.

I have a game that needs a bombastic and cheeky announcer talking shit and pushing buttons. I can help with setting up recording if needed.

Let me know if you want to play.

I did not, sorry.  I haven't seen anything. I assume you used ruffkeeper?
I scoured my emails and no, I don't see anything here. Please try again.

John.

You will find that AI involvement in game design is troublesome at best. There isn't an Agent out there that can keep more than 400 or 500 lines of code straight, and even then it is almost inevitable that AI will lose the plot.
As a tool to work out designs, assist in typing and explaining function it does well with limited, small tasks.
It cannot comprehend your vision.. It cannot and will not act as a watchdog, keeping the designer on track.
Over several iterations, the available resources (memory) for the AI is depleted and data loss occurs.
Prompt language is crucial or the AI will assume (they assume anyway) and almost always drift off track.

The previous posters argument that AI is simply stealing other's work is not really accurate. All programmers normally use others' code either deliberately or inadvertently.
For many methods covering common and repeated tasks, it is highly likely that every programmer is going to write it the same way. There are only so many ways to  do many things in code. So where is the line?
I don't agree with simply posting a prompt and assuming what you get is correct and valid, then selling it. I don't see it as theft, but laziness. Low hanging fruit. If you aren't ready to settle with "close", then you will have a lot of granular code adjustments to do, that AI simply can't comprehend.
It isn't the golden ticket that many suggest. It is actually more work explaining and rewriting over and over until you comprehend the problem sufficiently to simply tell AI what to change and let it do the typing. This has been my experience using AI to generate code for several varied projects. I am also learning C# in a trial by fire type of scenario. You have to. AI can't be trusted to see what you see.

The reality of coding with AI is a frustrating and convoluted disaster. If you can get past the AI deciding what you asked for is not what you want and flying off on some tangent repeatedly, you may be able to get something that works as required, but most times you will have to just settle with what you get, and it is likely not what you want.

If you want to test this, simply have Deepseek, Grok, ChatGPT or any other build an interactive tic tac toe game in python. About as simple as it gets these days.
See if you can get good results with a prompt less than  2000 characters and a single generation.
You will quickly understand what I am referring to.

Awesome, thank you.

I was thinking of a bit slower. The game is pretty cozy with the announcer off.
I planned for the music to be one mode, cozy, and with the announcer, chaos... Either one at a time, not both together.

My greatest concern is a loop that gets boring and annoying really fast. A slow, cozy track is more likely to be "background noise" and shouldn't draw too much focus, playing into the need for non-fatiguing.

Sessions shouldn't take too much time (4 or 5 minutes) and in music mode, the Streamer will be talking over the music.
That sounds horrible... pushing your music into the background where it is nearly dismissed. Unfortunately, this is the reality of it. The music is filler more than gameplay or branding, so does need to be in the back. I hope you understand I am not minimizing these efforts and fully understand what is involved.

Looking forward to what you come up with.
p.s.
If you want to tackle any of the general game sounds, by all means, fill your  boots. I am totally open to suggestions and external ideas.

I have a project that could use a nice atmospheric loop. My main concern with loops is they get old really fast. It is rare that a game music loop stays interesting.

I currently have music from AI to fill the space and would love to change it.

I wish I could offer more than your name and contact in game.

Have a look and see what you think.  The music in the vid is the current game music.

I can build em...

They aint pretty, but they work.
I need to find someone to make them pretty.
I wish I could pay, but all I have to offer right now is credit in game.
The game is a Streamer tool, so may or may not get tons of air.

Would love to pick your brain about this.

John.

Do you enjoy dice based "gambling"? I have a Farkle type game you can actually play against a selected chat member that really needs testing.
I am pretty sure it's fine, but need to confirm with some real world stress with all the moving parts running.

Have a look and see what you think.
If you do want to test, let me know first. There are a few things I need to tell you about.

Would love to see it in action in the wild.

I built a Farkle dice game, similar to the game in KCD2, that a Streamer can challenge selected Chat members to play.  Using standard boilerplate chat integration, your selected Chat member can use "!" commands to play. General chat can access the stats of all the games using !farklestats. The logic filters the chat messages and only responds to the Member added to the game.

I am seeking Streamers that like gambling and dice to stress test my game, offer suggestions and make bug reports. It is currently in a rather simple and basic state. If the Logic is solid and no problems arise, I can work on making the game much more attractive and  appealing. It currently has generated voice for the Announcer (to provide timing and flow data). This can be toggled, as can the music.
I am also seeking a VA that finds this project interesting and would like to add their talent and spin to the Announcer. With over 300 lines, this should not be considered trivial. Think cheeky button pusher.
Anyone adding their talents and time will be credited in the game.

I know you will enjoy it Give it a try.
John.

Did you see my post?
Look down...

I would like to reach out to you and introduce my project. I am working on a Chat interactive Farkle dice game for Twitch streamers and it really needs a cheeky and bombastic announcer talking shit and pushing buttons. I have placeholders in the game currently, for logic continuity, but it is really bad and must be replaced. You can find the  game here...  (announcer toggle in the testing panel, F12) https://plants-by-fred.itch.io/streamer-chat-farkle

And I can be contacted directly through Zoom (ruffkeeper@yahoo.ca) or Discord (https://discord.gg/V5M5urV4) The game also needs hard testing in a live environment to ensure the Chat integration functions as expected. It is basically boilerplate code, so other than the command specific logic, it should all be good. Thank you for your offer, and I hope to hear from you . Thanks. John.
