Haha I got you, you're the one on the left. Sadly I wasn't able to complete the AI for the enemy and polish the controls. I'd written it but had to trim it as there's a lot of cases where the enemy just falls and I know with not much time remaining I'd just be unable to submit, i just shipped the game as is. Planning on improving this game however.

This is my favourite game so far,   I have played this quite early and it has sparked the same feeling I had as the days when I play casual games as a child. Bravo.

It was so fun to play! And i love the polish in it. Including the music choice. It felt immersive altogether.

I can see the amount of work and effort put into this game. Fun concept, never thought someone would put a control scheme made for keyboard into a mouse only input prerequisite.

The person who made this game has a ton of potential around the indie game dev scene. Has a knack for visuals, I hope they would continue making games.

Hey everyone,

I just released a small game called OneLastBeat. It’s a solo project I’ve been working on —a short, experimental swordfighting beat-em-up game with 3 bosses, a basic shield mechanic. It was originally made for B1TJAM but I was not able to finish it in time.

It’s not perfect—there are rough edges, and plenty of things I could improve—but I pushed through and got it to a release state. Which is a big victory for me.

I cracked at "Please Nintendo, let it be" but honestly this looks really good and super fun to play. I do think you should rebrand this to not get the ire of the dark lords.
