What a plot twist :D
very clever ending with really interesting dialogue , It was a great idea to include choices that change the conversation .. it reminded me of Deltarune a little bit .

my only suggestion is to use a more readable font with less spacing between characters, as the current one was quite hard to read.

It's such a great interpretation of the theme and the art look nice .. but I agree with Azu, though the game is a little bit confusing and I couldn't pass level 5 😅

But overall, it's amazing that you were able to make this in just 3 days , I like it !

Simple but very fun ! It looks and sounds nice , My only suggestion is to add a tutorial that explains each mask and what it does one by one , Use the minimum amount of words across multiple pages rather than one written page , as players hate reading long blocks of text .
but overall, great game!!

the puzzles are good and the game looks very cool , I found the movement a little bit frustrating  , but I really had fun

why it's not working ?

even so I couldn't finish it and got stack after getting the 6 melon but I really enjoyed it ( sorry , Iam not Melonenmaskenmeister yet ) , the idea is so creative and the gameplay is super fun , and  the art is cool .

overall great game !

Fun concept! However, when enemies came in big numbers, I couldn't tell what was happening on screen. Also, it seems I can't die for some reason. Overall, nice game!

didn't plan for the difficulty to spike so quickly so Levels 1 to 8 are easy , but Level 9 is really hard , but I ran out of time to make the difficulty grow linearly, so I decided to make the final level challenging to give players a proper test. anyway I'm really glad you liked it!

Such a creepy game! I love the scary atmosphere and vibe , My only wish is that the gameplay was more engaging and had more to it

Very cool and polished game! The gameplay loop is simple yet very fun, and the pixel art looks great. I think the only thing missing is a greater variety of masks that change how you play—which is understandable since this was made in 3 days.

Years of playing, and I still love it .

it keep telling me that the pck file is missing

very cool and unique game !!

the idea is fun but maybe making the cards randomize each time you play the level would be great , the art and the music  is cool .. and the game fit the theme well

The game has simple but fun mechanics. I finished it with only two total deaths (after discovering a bug :D where if you stay close to a wall, the ghosts will just walk toward you without attacking). The art and the animations are great; they really help the game stand out.

For the SFX, I think their volume is too low. I could barely hear them.

Also, maybe adding more types of ghosts, like ones that go through walls or shoot from a very close distance, would make the experience even better.

Overall, great submission!!

Cool game , nice idea and nice art

I found it confusing at first and took me some time to fully understand what should I do , and the clip board wasn'y clear enough about what should I give to each monster  , but I really injoied it !!

the art is 10/10 , super creepy and glow effect on the cards is a nice detaile , the music is also nice

I though my game was very clear with easy to learn mechanics .. but in reality most of the people who tried it didn't even relized there are rooms other than the starting room :D
anyway Iam planing to start working on the update tomorrow , wish me luck !!

I'm sorry to hear that .  I should have made a tutorial to explain the mechanics better 😅 , the same mistake I made in my previous GoedWare jam

bu t anyway here's how  the main gameplay loop is , you  walk around your house and notice if something moves, changes shape, or appears unexpectedly. This means there is a monster ( an 'Uninvited Guest' ) nearby. To reveal the monster, you need to use your flashlight on it.

There are three types of monsters:

  1. normal zombie.
  2.  zombie that throws projectiles.
  3. The boss ( THE HIDING GHOST )

Your main goal is to find and kill the boss to free its soul and make it leave your house. not that the boss will disappear after a short time when it appears, and you'll have to find it again until you finally defeat it.

You must do all of this before midnight. After midnight, the boss and every single monster still alive will attack you directly , you can still defeat the boss but it will be so much harder

for the art you are right .. this was my first time trying to makemy own pixel art for my entire game .. and Thank agian you for trying my game even though you don't like this type of game !!
also you made a solid very polished  game , I really like it !!

the art is creepy and really drive the scary feeling , the gameplay in unique and the sounds is great

I liked the hand drawing art very cool , and the sfx is nice but I think the music is a little bit annoying

giving the player multiple things to do and make him think "what should I do now ? fix , get more ammo or fight the zombies" is very clever and add some strategic depth to the game

Yeah, that was because I had two types of side walls: one with collision and one without. I think I have mixed them up :] ,  but I will fix this. Regarding the gun and the flashlight, do you mean adding the ability to  only use one of them at a time? I think that's a cool idea !

2 - yeah I was planning to add an enemy with the ability to show all the hidden monsters  around it when killed and tow more levels , thats would have added more depth , diffecalty and stratigic thinking to the game , but I ran out of time

3 - " it's not a bug it's a feature " ;D I thought that would help the players find the boss if it's near them so I keep it in the game
