When I was testing, it really seemed much easier not moving for the first dozen or so waves! Until you can't shoot obviously haha. Thanks for taking the time to leave such a lovely comment!

Homing arrows early on sounds brutal! Glad you changed it :')

Wow, big praise! Thanks so much!!

Thanks! Simplicity was the aim ;)

Thanks so much!

Thanks so much! I tried to make it as juicy as I could! :)

Haha thanks! I do get very nervous when I play it too.

Very kind words! Thanks so much. Maybe I'll consider a full release when the game is over.

Really like the concept! I'm working on something similar for a side-project over the past few months :') I thought it was too easy, then I realised how squishy I was about halfway through and died! Obviously you're meant to focus on farming more undead rather than fight yourself haha.

Seems like a lot of work went into this for a Jam game! Well done! Love the grinding, super fun,

Funny game, loved the CHONK chickens! Got stuck on the Tetris level...

Very cute game! I wasn't entirely sure what I was doing, but loved the concept anyway

Interesting concept! Reverse cookie clicker :)

Really creative idea!

Thanks Arvie! Very kind of you to say. I had a lot of the combat set up already from another project, so I had the opportunity to focus on polish! Helped a lot.

Thanks so much! Glad you think so.

I'll check your project out too when I get a minute :)

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it - I've heard that from a few people about the number, definitely needs some iterating on! Maybe I'll push it to the backround or somewhere at the top next time.

Fun game! Was really hard to catch the ball, it being faster than the square, but I like the concept

Fun game! Would kick the asteroid into earth again.

Loved this! Scratched my factorio itch, in a tidy little package.

Had a lot of fun with this! Play quite a few times, I like that the heat increases from your weapons, and from taking hits. Originally I thought I would die from overheating so I was a little sad losing a run from cooling down, maybe a similar blue overlay warning like the red overheat glow would be worth adding!

Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it :)

Thanks so much! Do you mean the countdown text, or the UI? There's definitely room for improvement, I wanted the countdown prominent, but maybe I shouldn't have made it so central.

Thanks Zed! Glad you liked it. I think you're right, I wanted it a bit of frantic energy, but maybe putting it a bit higher would be better. The engine speed increases every rule change too to increase difficulty, but I noticed in the end it's really difficult to react to the rule changes quickly enough!

Thank you! I added it last minute so some of my friends could play without a PC, wasn't as difficult as I thought it'd be.

I think q,e,f would've felt more natural to me too!

it happens! I ran out of time for a few bits too

Really cool game! Love the use of ASCI art, though it's not something I'm used to, it was fun to try!

I liked the enemy designs! I wasn't sure what the meat did, or if i was taking any damage, as it seems i got hit a bunch of times with no consequences. Wasn't sure if I could win, or if it was more of a how far can you go kind of game!

Really loved this! Very fun take on the theme, and loved the music and art direction! I had some trouble with the controls with most of the buttons being left handed, so it would have been nice to have some right hand buttons, or rebinds.

Fun game! Definitely needed the tutorial

Thank you so much! Really kind words, I appreciate it. Definitely very chaotic! I thought about toning it down a bit, but it seemed more fun for a quick jam game to keep things crazy :p

Love the concept!

Thanks so much !!! Spent days trying to figure out how to get the most of out of simple style

Wow, very nice compliment! Thanks so much.

Hey Cyberfrog!

I'm really happy you liked the spritesheets! Thanks so much for the kind words

Unfortunately I don't have time to work on creating any more animation packs at the moment as I'm in the late stages of development for my game Hunters Hand. Sorry!

Dan

Hey! Thanks so much for letting me know, that's so cool! Played around with it for a bit, love the vibe.

Thank you! I use blender to animate a 3d model and then turn jt into a pixel sprite sheet in aseprite 😊

That's so cool, thanks for sharing! Glad it was helpful. :)

Thank you!
