Thank you for playing our game! Overall it's a nice game and the visual style is really fun and charming, but the bugs really distracted from the other parts of the game. Gameplay wise, many of the enemies towards the start (the worm looking things) weren't really doing anything and felt more like just a moving rock rather than an obstacle, and some of the UI was difficult to understand, particularly in the dialogue where some of the prompts could have been clearer in how to act on them.

The game’s style is really cool, especially when the character glows in the dark. I think adjusting the visuals of the green area a bit would make the game feel more polished—I initially thought the green rocks were poisonous LOLL. The enemy combat feels a little off because the controls aren’t very intuitive (I think using the up arrow to jump might feel more natural) and there isn't any effect indicating if I hit it ot it hits me (consider adding effects to turn red? or add knock bad to the rigidbody). Other than that, I really like the 3D depth effect in the background just like hollow knight!

This is a great game! I noticed that both WASD and the arrow keys work for movement, which is a really nice touch. The attention to detail really brings the game to life! The map design is also clever that it guides you to use new abilities!

Very creative idea to generate the map using a CSV file. One thing that was a bit confusing is that there are Door 0, Door 1, Door 2, and Door 3 in the map, and I couldn’t really understand how they are connected. I also found it hard to adjust my attack direction. The gameplay feels more strategy-based, so I think it would be really helpful to include some in-game “tips” to guide the player. Overall, I found it one of the most interesting game to play. Great work!

The game is very nice! I really like how the tutorial is integrated directly into gameplay very clearly with visuals. I think this, along with other small details, is why the game feels balanced and smooth overall. One question I had while playing is how to deal with the monsters on the walls. Since the bullets are limited to three angles, I found it a bit difficult to aim accurately while also dodging.

Thank you for the feedback! It;s very helpful.  I am happy to see that you like the visual style and the blob too!

I like the character and its animations! I also enjoy how the game focuses on exploration, which is an important part of a Metroidvania game.

The walking and jumping animations are very cool. For some reason, my controller didn’t work as intended so I couldn't reach the end. the overall visuals have a very interesting style. It’s also really impressive that the game is only 320 KB. I especially like the glitched text—it makes the game look really cool and adds a lot of character!

I really like the character and its animations! The movement and jumping feel very nice and responsive. While the art style isn’t really my personal preference, I also felt that the camera movement was a bit dizzy at times.

I think adding some minimal textures to the environment could make it feel cuter and more visually appealing. I like the mechanic where the gun can break down doors, but I think adding a visible projectile could make the shooting feel clearer and more satisfying.

Overall, I think a few small fixes and extra polish would really improve the game. Great work!

I really enjoy the art style, music, and the unique movement mechanics. There is a bug on the third floor of the house where I got stuck inside a wall. I also really like the polished camera movement.

There are still a few bugs—for example, the ground texture feels a bit messy, and when I move, it makes my eyes hurt slightly. I also noticed some background tile glitches.

That said, I really like how the game focuses on exploration, which fits the Metroidvania style well. Including keybind instructions and save/load functionality directly in the game is very user-friendly. Overall, I think it’s a very cool game.

Very cool game design—everything feels polished and neat. One downside of the minimal style is that it’s hard to understand how to defeat enemies without dying. The jumping feels really smooth and well done. The music adds a lot of excitement to the game, which I really enjoyed. I think it would be better if the respawn point wasn’t in the transition between map areas, since it made me feel a bit disoriented and I couldn’t always tell where I was. Overall, it’s a really great game!

Very cute character! I really love the jump animation, and the wall-dash jump mechanic is super fun and creative. I’m not the best at platformers, but I still enjoyed the overall idea a lot. I was a little confused by the UI at first and wasn’t sure what the “R” input did. The jump feels a bit floaty to me, and the shooting range felt a little short, though that might just be personal preference. Overall, I can clearly see the effort put into this game, and the pool-core visual style is really interesting and charming.

Thank you for the feedback! We agree that the camera movement is dizzy while cobatting and we will keep iterating on this. Really glad that you like the visual style and blob movement!
