Never mind, I checked your SubscribeStar and saw that PortalHeart's been getting all the updates. I didn't even know you were working on another game, sorry.

Did your PC ever get repaired?

It was easy enough to find most of the recipes by systematically trying every ingredient with every other ingredient. The two I had to use "I'm stuck" for were the two that required using the *same* ingredient twice. That possibility hadn't occurred to me. Once I saw it, I then tried mixing every other ingredient with itself to see if there were any Easter eggs, but no such luck.

You know what would be a fun recipe? If "Green Mushroom" + "Amanita Phalloides" made "Tangy Mushroom Soup"! You'd have to taste it to be sure what you'd made, and people would be afraid to taste it because it might be "Poisonous Mushroom Soup", so it would be a funny surprise. 8-)

But remembering which color means which person is just as hard as remembering which icon means which person. If you don't want to put names under the icons, how about putting a list in the ingame help that shows the icons with names next to them?

I can't remember the last time I had to enter my name by pointing at letters on the screen instead of just typing it. Was this game intended to mimic MS-DOS games or something like that?

In general, the interface seems very confusing to me. Perhaps you could have the beginning tutorial cover some of the really *basic* basics, like how to interact with someone or something, or how to read the signs posted by each classroom? Walking into things doesn't always seem to work.

The map is confusing, too. Finding ways to go up or down a floor is hard. Could the stairways be highlighted on the map somehow?

I really like the concept of the game, I'm just having a hard time getting anything done.

Have you got a Discord? I can't find a link to Discord on any of your pages.

Thanks!

How many possible endings are there? I've found two so far.

Ahh, that's why the "fixed" one was so much larger. That makes sense. Until the upcoming version comes out, I'd suggest putting that brief explanaation somewhere on the game page -- ideally, just above the download links, but I don't know how much flexibility Itch gives you for that stuff.

What is the difference between the Windows x64 and the Windows x64 (non-fixed) versions? The only interpretation I can come up with for "non-fixed" is "bug fixes not applied", but I can't imagine why you'd be offering that for download...

Thanks!

Is this an actual game, or just a collection of images? I can't tell from the description.

Ah, sneaky! The credits were going on so long that I didn't even try to sit through them. Thanks!

My only complaint is that you never get to see her visibly pregnant.

Never mind, I finally found it!

Next question: how do you recognize the hospital when you get there? I can't find any building that has, say, a red cross on it or the word "HOSPITAL" over the door.

Oh, thanks!

There *is* no hospital, right?

Hmm, I started 1.5.1 and noticed that the main menu has a "check updates" button. When I press it, it tells me "Update 1.5.0 is available. Do you wish to install it?" As you might guess, I chose *not* to install it. 8-)

Will do, thanks!

Downloaded ResearchStationM00-v1.5.1-pc.zip and unzipped it, and there are three more zip files in the game folder now:

  • bugfix3.zip
  • bugfix4.zip
  • bugfixes.zip

Do any of these need to be unzipped and placed somewhere before I can play the game? Or are they old fixes that are now included as part of 1.5.1?

Never mind, I see. Once she goes up past Monster Factory lvl 1000, she suddenly becomes a High Succubus again. Some kind of overflow error, I suppose.

How do you get her Succubus level to go up instead of down?

If you mean the caves where they took the kidnapped dancer, I'm lost there too. Some ladders aren't even blocked by anything but still can't be climbed, and I'm just wandering around the same places over and over. The ability to see an overall map of where you've been so far would be hugely helpful!
