Thanks :)

I am glad you liked it.
It was on the stream a few minutes ago. But unfortunately Mark didn't got to the level with the cool mechanics.

Damn that music is sick! I like it very much! The Game perfectly fits the theme in multiple ways. Great work on sound, visuals and level design. I also like the camera shake when you hit a wall while you are stuck.

I am so bad at snake - I just scored 28. Also there was a dude calling me again and again 🤣.

Niceley done. The moment i thought this can't be just snake - the phone rings and I had a little jump scare feeling :D

Very fun game. I like how fast you can get the Sun/Moon by swinging it around. Nice work.

Thanks man! We had a fun time making this game. (Despite some bugs and issues along the way 🤣). We are really happy to hear you also enjoyed playing it. As we mentioned in other comments we'd love to implement some more levels in the future and also update the visuals and stuff.

Thank you so much for playing. We are really happy for all this nice feedback.
Yeah we had more levels an twists in mind for the game but we ran out of time in the end. The Boost was tweaked till it worked for the ramp. We ended up choosing a very high number and all the crates in that level were placed there to make a softer landing. But it didn't work out that well :D - we are still on it and probably will update the game after the jam ends. 😄

I like the Idea that you can dismantle the enemy ships and attach their wreckage to your own ship.
You did a great job to turn this years theme into a game machanic. Nice! 😊

The controls are a bit interesting though. It took me some time to figure out the WASD direction is relativ to the mouse. So W lets you move in the direction of the mouse pointer.

We like the concept, too. like nekiwo said it has a lot of potential. We could imagine to spawn the obstacles in sync to beat.  Higher notes could go up a line and lower notes down. So one yould remember the melody to know what happens next. Nice music and clean design. 🙂

2968 - so close 😭

Now that you mention it, we could have used 'W' 😯
But during playtesting we reserved 'W' for speeding through the levels.🤫

Thanks for playing our game!

Glad you like it.
Let us know If you have any suggestion to make it even more inefficient. 😁

We had some ideas for twists on the gameplay, like throwable extension cables.

We discovered that most of the games used 'R' to reset the game. We also mapped the levelreset to R but during playtesting we hit R by accident quite often. 😅 so we changed it to 'delete'.

Thanks for playing and the feedback. Glad you liked it.

We rage-quitted due to getting killed  by the lazy cat three times. For real: Fun game, controls could be smoother, the "Quack"-death sound feels like the actions in the game actually have consequences on the duck family 😱

Fun little game, it would have been good to see more or longer levels.

We burnt ourselves multiple times, but we were engaged to play through to the end.

We just built each type of  tower in the first three positions and boom! We won the game.

You are right. We renamed the folder "Family Gathering" to  "Family Gathering_Data" and it worked. Was short but fun.

Installed pgzero via pip

but then I got it to work - we had a fun time playing it. The acid is sick man!
