Thanks!  At the time the engine didn't have direct support for volume control, but it does now, so I need to revisit it.

Thanks!  When a target gets obscured by text, those are the most difficult for me. :)

Thanks!  You can press "n" if you just want to cycle through the stages to see them all.  It's random, so there will be repeats.

Thanks!  Very little is new under the sun, though.  This mechanic, I thought of it based on an interactive floor projection for kids at a local mall (pre-pandemic:) and a similar tabletop projection system at.. Charles Towne Landing.  I believe the kids one had virtual leaves you could jump into and scatter.  The other one may have involved a brushing motion, maybe with an archaeological tilt, but my memory is fuzzy.

Thanks!  It's finished in so much as it scratched the itch I had for the jam (trying out the repelling mechanic), but if there's something you're wanting to see, I could be persuaded to tweak it (I think a community high score server for the indie community might be cool, but it may be a while before I try tackling that one).  It's just a score chase with infinite levels, and RNG can get help or hinder.  I think I got to level 9 or so when I last tried it.  It's also open source, or will be as soon as I add a LICENSE file.

thanks!

FWIW, the community on Discord is friendly and helpful, including the developers.  I got DR on the cheap with a bundle, so my expectations were different than they would have been had I paid full price for it, but then, ostensibly, I also would have been more invested as well.  It's "professional" in that it's been used for games on the Switch, but there is the feel of a start-up and you can sense it in the enthusiasm of the folks behind it (and in the armchair psychology you point out with identity and trying to build community).  I'm having a lot of fun with it, but yes, there are needed improvements with documentation and on-ramping.  I would put more emphasis on http://fiddle.dragonruby.org/

the workaround wisdom at the moment is put all your requires in main.rb; not ideal, but it seems to work

Does it do the other direction, give you Morse and expect a letter?
