GRRRR I WISH I WAS ABLE TO RATE THIS SUBMISSION BUT IT’S NOT IN MY QUEUE EVEN AFTER CLEARING EVERYTHING

Loved the art, sadly a lot of game breaking bugs were present and I wasn’t able to finish the game past completing the first level

i cant for the life of me remember the sequences of the pills i almost killed her like twenty times and by the end of it i was tweaking so hard, and the game reminded me that i forgot to take my own pills so i went and took them, and then i had to do the dishes in game and i remembered i havent done the dishes irl so i played the game further to procrastinate, and then i sorted the laundry in game and looked at all my clothes that are on the ground in my room and felt really sad; good thing i didnt have pictures i needed to dust, nor a pet, nor a dead husband, nor an estranged child… oh wait, i am the estranged child….

Just as i thought the sweet release of death happen upon me, i was surprised to see that she managed to wake up the next morning despite being drugged with a heroic dose of random medicine the last day; then i struggled with the pills for another solid ten minutes; i started calling the brownish and yellowish stripy pill “germany” and the other stripy pill “sad germany”, and it helped; day 3 i was met with a gut punch as the number of pills i have to remember increased, but with my new naming scheme i was able to get through it under 10 trys. Despite ignoring my estranged child’s (wait i guess i do have an estranged child now) call and finishing all my tasks before picking he still insisted on helping out, which was really sweet, and i really miss home now,

anyways 10/10 also some feedback would be that the arrow in the kitchen doesn’t trigger sometimes, maybe have the player bumping into the edge of the screen as the trigger instead.

Also, a collider for a platform on the left was accidentally turned off; i’ve added it to the bugs list

yeah, we realized that like, half an hour before submission and frantically put ̶y̶e̶l̶l̶o̶w̶ ̶p̶a̶i̶n̶t̶ ̶ a glimmer on all the platformable surfaces. We started out trying to make something very different with a weird mechanic related to the parallax in the background, but ended up realizing that it was too hard to make at the halfway point of the jam and pivoted to making this bird platformer thing with the time remaining, so there is still a lot of integration problems orz
