Woah awesome to see this game came out! I remember seeing it at the Southern Fried Gaming EXPO a few years ago and thought it looked awesome! Definitely going to check this out!

Based solely off the tag line I downloaded the game expecting a typical dating sim and planned on streaming it in discord so me and my friends could laugh at the usual absurdities of dating sims.

However instead I was met with a thought provoking, remarkably cute, interesting story. Me and my friends were quickly captivated by the game and played until the end! I loved it! I thought the baseball sections were kinda boring but I'm not a huge baseball guy too, so that's probably why. I loved the rest of the story though, and cannot wait for Butterfly Soup 2

Pretty boring concept, and execution. Not only are zombies pretty overdone but this is the most generic way to implement zombies. The game wasn't hard at all if you just keep shooting. I ended up just quitting once I got to wave 14.

Interesting gameplay, but I found the task you comeplete with said gameplay to be pretty boring.I feel this type of control could be more fun in a platformer, or something like that. Pretty cool game. 7/10

Pretty cool game. The graphics are super well done. Even though I'm pretty sure the same song plays the entire time, I never really got bored of it through the game; the sound effects are also pretty good, I especially like the "undertale style voices" for the director and investor. The combat, while simplistic, is enjoyable, the minor aspects like the sound effects, and screen shake when hitting enemies creates pretty satisfying combat. The boss fights are pretty good as well, not particularly hard, but not unfair either, the boss could definitely kill you if you weren't able to figure out its pattern, but once you figure out how it moves it's pretty easy; and most importantly the boss fights are fun. The writing adds to the feel of the game, and is enjoyable, and funny; I could easily see this premise as some sort of short film.

A few problems I did have were, the controls shown at the beginning disappearing before I could read them fully, as well as the ending fight feeling a little strange: I entered the room, and beat the entire boss with no dialogue, but just as I beat the vampire they talk about hiring the vampire actor for 1 minute and then replacing him with a bat, even though I had already beat him; the ending felt like a lot of dialogue at  once, that could have been split up.

Overall a fun game, with most aspects done very well, if I were to give it a "out of 10" score I would say a solid 8/10.

EDIT: Not sure how I missed this but upon a second play through I noticed that the music inside dungeons, and fighting the bosses, is different from the overworld song; because of this I have to note that the songs weren't particularly memorable, since, I didn't remember them. Also on the aspect of the final boss: when I first fought him he had no head, I'm pretty sure that was a glitch since upon fighting him a second time he did have one. Also I waited a minute and the vampire did not get replaced by a bat; which is at least a little confusing to me, since every other time they say they're changing something due to budget it happens. Another possible problem (unless it was intentional) was that the goblin neighbor can be ignored completely, by just walking past him and going into the boss room.

This is the best game I have ever played. The combat is enjoyable, the gameplay is thrilling, and the art (especially for agent lad) is a masterpiece. The only gripe I have is how distracting agent lad can be sometimes; I can't help myself from getting turned on mid battle due to agent lad's swole, secsy body. Overall an amazing experience, I definitely would recommend.
