This game is really fun/underrated I beat it once and probably will again, a few thoughts suggestions.

A think many of the card strategies are too parasitic, poison wants more poison stuff, bleed more bleed, charges, hex, etc.

I really wanted to try to get creative with my build, I felt like progression was slow though as it was taking me awhile to get the cards I wanted and I never did finish the build I had in mind before I beat the game.

I was hoping I could take a few of my cards to my next playthrough or something but couldnt V_V

I guess you may be going for more of a roguelike thing, but I think with how collecting spells and making cards work its nice to perfect your collection and exeriment with weird synergies.

Since you get more mana as you play going back and defeating old dungeons feels like smurfing and gets tedious. IT would be nice if you could bring old dungeons up in difficulty when you replay them or something.

I know a lot of comlaint/suggestion but I love this sort of spellmaking/card thing, its really fun to play with.

Fun little game

The art for this is soooo good

solid platformer, def a bit difficult but its cool how jump becomes a rescourse, i liked the music, the sound, the player character and its animations (though ocassionaly bugged out) and the progressive level design with diff obstacles

I digged the peaceful muscin on this, and the gameplay loop while simple was a novel take on the theme. ITs quite fun to juggle the clouds. Icould c the colors getting toned down someto match the peaceful vibe of the music, and maybe introducing more clouds quicker as the game goes on . I got to a little over 3k score before I realized i had mastered it haha

For me the coolest parts of this game were
1. the big painting of the sky that goes from space to ground

2. The death animation of your balloon

3. the little animated bird in your intro.

also dug the music throughout.

the gameplay was a little simple, so not too much to comment on there

Woah, what an atmosphere and vibe... def the creepiest game i played this jam, and it really feels like you've descented to another realm... twisted, and a little funny. Purpleis an awesome color, i loved the art direction this one

Really well polished, this bat character is interesting.. and so is the concept of the crumbling arena.

A very sleek entry. The music and the one bit art style was v cool, also dug the color even if it was subtle. The gameplay was difficult, omg i kept dying after the first few rounds haha. Cute character too, like a space rabbit

this was a fun lil take on the limitation, loved playing as eggward haha... no really the player character was so cute and funny. Would have loved to have some sounds, and a minor critique, the mixed resolution assets (but i kno its a jam)

The writting was funny and totally had that 3am energy vibe.

That's the one I'm usually trying to find lol

Thank you, and thanks for streaming it. I watched the vod and it was a lot of fun

Thank you so much!

thank you! Thats better than I usually do with him

This is a very solid entry! And one of the few entries that actually went in on sound lol. Consistent and cute style throughout, a simple game loop but well executed. The floaty movement feels great, and the frogs tongue works well and is fun. Maybe mix the bird cries just a little lower XD ha

Crazy!

Fun little puzzle game. The solution button was a nice touch too.

Not a whole lot here, but the jumping thing works very well. I ended up making it to cloud 12 on my best run. pressed this game because of the unicorn character

After I understood this it was a pretty tense game. You have to quickly evulate your poison health, and the options on the field, trying to grab the card that sets you up for success regardless of which 50/50 it picks OR pray to god u get that good option haha.

The descent bit dosnt feel particularly relevant to the game, but I get it, your falling through mystery doors. If this wasnt a game jam game and you had more time, it would be cool to feel like you were actually falling through the door and into the next room or something. But tbh I actually enjoyed this simple game.

time and tested taxi delivery concept game with the twist being that the taxi flys.

Really funny concept, and I love the screen overlay when you crash. Sound would probably really make this come to life. Thus far, the funniest game of the jam ive played haha!

(1 edit)

Okay, this one was very simple. I think my favorite and least favorite part are the same thing, which is... your shape language! The leaf and spikes were both interesting shapes, organic.. sharp.. spindly. It was really frustrating sometimes when the edge of a spike hit the edge of a leaf so slightly, but again, I suppose those particular shapes are what made this game interesting, and not as generic as it could have been. Also nice little ost.  I like the specificity of it being an "oak" leaf and not just a leaf.

Yeah t add to it, maybe if the leaf gets clipped it tilts or something, right now the leaf feels like a stone leaf haha. and obviously more variety etc. etc. but fr the jam, yeah its a descending thing ha.

This one was different, no so much a game, but as you say, an interactive poem. What a vibe!

The visuals, music, and design worked well together to create a mood. I did think the music was a weak link in this regard, i liked it, it was just a tad too repetative and didnt loop nicely.

Otherwise, thank you for the message and poetic interpretation of  the theme.

If I were to suggest anything, I thouht the ability to ascend aswell as descend was interesting, I thought maybe u were going for something celever where the text would read differently if you reversed it, and while im not suggesting you do that (I suppose it would be a little corny) I wonder if there isnt something interesting that could be done with the ascend/descend mechanic.

It reminds me of line rider physics. flip flip flip

Beautiful art. Interesting dive mechanic after I figured it out.

Really solid visuals, love the time of day you capture, the pixel trail etc. The concept is super goofy, and why are there ufos! haha love it..

Obv its a very simple gameplay loop.. I like the dash, and managed to catch all the eggs on my second play through, but then saw it kept track of my damages and realized if i was really a l33t gamer id get all the eggs while taking 0 dmg.

How would I expand it? I guess just add more things in the field with different effects, a few enemy variants, maybe some things you can fly through, etc.

This one is tough!

I like the look of the game, its simple but it obviously well done with a font that matches the pixel art and lovely colors. Same for the 8-bit sounds, simple, but fitting.

The floating movement was difficult, and I guess the crux of the game! A bit embarrassed to admit my highschore after quite a few efforts was 11.

The shooting is even harder than the movement! lol because your bullet is so smol u need perfect aim. I think the bullet could afford to be bigger x3? I ended up just jumping around.

Overall though... cute game, If i could add one thing Id have the heart character have different facial expressions for when he does stufff.

I enjoyed the clean aesthetic

Beautiful colors. Everyone is killing it with the clouds this jam.

Best look clouds in the jam so far!

High Score : 350
This Alien made me chuckle. I was having a lot of fun bouncing off people until i realized that was killing me.

Fun! These stealth bombers under the clouds were driving me crazy.

Really fun
