Noted, thanks! I'm mostly new to updating stuff over time on this site, so I'll keep that in mind going forward.

One Death Is Never Enough version 1.0.0.2 is now live, featuring more bug fixes and a few extra additions.

Okay, I'll fix the producer's assistant ASAP.

As for the actual producer himself, go one screen over to the left from where you see the drunken sailor passed out on the pier, there's another pier area that also features a spirit that breaks the fourth wall.

Version 1.0.0.1 is now published! This includes the bug fixes pointed out by Dorkfishie (many thanks for playing!), and a few extra things. Enjoy!

Ah, okay, that's certainly a quick fix, thanks for the heads-up!

I may just have to remove that one. That happened with two other NPC's during the dev process and nothing I tried with RPG Maker MV's damaged character sprites fixed the issue, so it may be an engine bug.

I appreciate your feedback! That's definitely a strange thing, I'll fix it ASAP and update accordingly.

I'll have to try that and see what happens, but considering I tried it with other games like Sonic and the Fallen Star and it DIDN'T work, I'm not hopeful.

The game doesn't want to work with my Xbox controller. It keeps trying to recognize it as a keyboard, and although most of the buttons work as intended, having the camera turn whenever I try to steer the kart is a nightmare to navigate. Doesn't help that it keeps doubling my directional inputs because of this issue. Attempting to switch to a PS4 controller also didn't fix anything, as it doesn't even recognize it.

Regardless, I appreciate the work you've done to make this what it is. Can't wait to see what else you've got in store!

Thanks for your observations! I've published a new build of the game for both PC and Mac that incorporated all your fixes, so take a look if you feel like it! And sorry for the delay.

Thank you, that's my mistake! I'll implement a fix soon.

It should be. If it does happen (assuming it hasn't already, considering how late I saw this message, sorry again), I can try implementing a fix.

Sorry I didn't see this until just now, but it sounds like you figured it out. Thanks for playing!
