Hey all!

Thanks again for the quick reply and SteamDeck guide, but I’ve still been banging my head against a wall for the last 3 hours getting this to run on either of my gaming devices.

For Steam, it all comes down to 2 issues

1. The directory described in the guide doesn’t exist. Not exactly. There’s no “home/deck/local/share/fonts”

2. When everything’s added and using the correct compatibility mode, I can get it to run on Desktop Mode Steam (invisible text) but nothing in Gaming Mode. It hangs on the black screen with SteamDeck icon.(update: this part, I fixed by following the guide better T_T still invisible text though)

UPDATE #2

I have arrived at the stupidest possible ending. After learning I can just create a Fonts folder and install them, I tried that. Realized I needed a password. Then realized my password didn’t work. I must have set it incorrectly (since you can’t see what you’re typing). O no.

UPPDATE #3

All good. Fixed my password issue (using Steam Boot Menu trick) and installed the fonts "personal" instead of "system wide."

OMG THAT WOULD BE AMAZING!

I could possibly use that to figure out the process for the Ayn Thor, too!

Hey, all!

I definitely don’t expect the dev to prioritize weird little edge cases like mine, but I’m trying like heck to get this working on the Ayn Thor. Has anyone in the community figured this out yet?  I’ve tried WinlatorCMOD and GameHub Lite with no luck. It seems to boot, I’ve SORTA gotten controls to work, but I can’t load past the title screen. Though I can hear audio!

*I’d also settle for getting this running on a SteamDeck if anyone’s figured that out T_T
