it should work properly now

since there is no saving in the game you will need play trough it from start

unfortunately it is a bug that i never ran into during playtesting

A new patch has released 

i just ended up removing the setting fps to more than 120. i encourage you to play the new version since i fixed a bug at the end.

I have found what's causing the issue 

Actually locking your FPS to 120 or less will fix it

I have no idea why that's happening

you can use the work around to play it if you like

it will take at least an hour until i update it

Thank you so much for playing! I also wanted to clear up some stuff about the game. i made it back in the last few weeks of 2023 as a little fun holiday project. I just happened to re- release it on itch io.
Since you liked it so much i will be releasing a hopefully better "Full Game" shortly. Also don't worry about donating, making money from this project isn't my top priority

In Sailas you play as Clyde Blackwood a private investigator tasked with neutralizing a trespasser in a mansion located in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately Clyde's mission isn't so simple. Sailas is heavily inspired by old school survival horror games, like resident evil, silent hill, fatal frame and etc. Stuff like tank controls and fixed camera angles are just a part of the hole game.

Is it still laggy when the optimized settings are toggled on?
