Hey everyone!
We’re Parafield Studios, an indie non-profit game studio that’s been around since 2017. For a while we were building on Roblox, but after a bunch of controversial changes on their end that honestly made it hard to justify staying as a smaller studio, we made the call to leave and start fresh somewhere we actually have control over our work.
It wasn’t an easy decision — we had projects we cared about over there. But it was the right one. So right now we’re picking back up on an idea one of our Directors brought up back in 2025. We’ve been building it in Godot 4 and we’ve dropped a small teaser publicly, but the project is still pretty much a secret for now. What we can say is it’s a 2D game and the team’s been really excited working on it.
Who we’re looking for exactly?
Godot Developers — We’re still growing our footing with Godot ourselves, so we’re really looking for people who actually know what they’re doing in GDScript. If you’ve built something in Godot before, even something small, that goes a long way.
QA Testers — people who are detail oriented and don’t mind really digging into things to find what’s broken.
What you’re actually getting into:
A small team that genuinely cares about what we’re making. This is a volunteer role — we’re a non-profit so we’re upfront about that. But you’d be getting real experience on an actual project with a team that has structure and direction behind it.
