The Rivers of Astrum Demo is now live.
Rivers of Astrum is a Dark Fantasy NSFW Adult Visual Novel. The demo currently consists of approximately one hour of gameplay. Work is ongoing, and virtually never-ending.

A young woman, orphaned while very young on the streets of a city that did not want her. Plagued by recent dark visions, and no longer feeling safe where she is, she embarks on a journey to acquire the means of leaving the only place she's known as home.
This journey sees her caught up in a sweeping tide of destiny that no one could have predicted, and leaves her forever changed. Whether that change is for the better or for the worse is yet to be seen.

Content Toggles will be introduced in version 0.0.2 of the game. Most, if not all, of these fetishes will be able to be toggled on/off for those who do not wish to see them. They will all default to "On", however, so you must go into Preferences and untoggle the content that you do not wish to see in future releases.
On that note, the goal is to provide genuine alternative paths for those avoiding any given content, so it will not simply be a black screen that says "Scene skipped because you turned [x] off", but it will be a render path that simply shows an alternative to the skipped content. That said, be aware that there are several scenes planned that will have several different content tags, and if ANY ONE of the content tags from that scene are disabled, then the alternative scene will be displayed.
