And some from the other projects I worked on:

I'm looking to work on projects as a Ren'py programmer. I've worked on:
as examples.
I can code virtually anything you would need for a VN format. I can put all your assets together, code animations, make point systems, story branching/routes, menus and screens, miscellaneous GUI work, etc. You can push my current abilities according to your project's needs, I like the challenge to learn and value the experience.
A short VN with all the assets might take me a couple of days up to a week or two to put together and polish, depending on the amount of work. A long VN (30min+) might take me a couple of weeks or longer.
I'm flexible about the payment rate, according to your budget and project size.
Feel free to ask me anything. You can add me on discord to discuss if you want to hire me: pantophon
More information on the project and story:
I've been working on this project for about 3 years. The game was originally an adult horror visual novel, but I pivoted it and removed the NSFW part and the gore to make it SFW. Right now I'm rewriting everything I have for it to that effect, but a good part of the game is not written yet, I just have the general old outline.
The game right now doesn't have a...particular genre yet. But it's a bit slice of life, bit thriller, bit psychological I suppose.
The story... It's about a guy who meets three uncommon "heroines", who are all male, but are sort-of obsessed with him and some are a little crazy. Thus, it becomes a bit of a thriller as we don't know what they're capable of or what they could do to him, depending on what the player decides. Two of those "heroines" are feminine, like femboys, but the third one is just a plain guy. The genre is a bit satire too, it's not a BL genre-wise but a sort of psychological alternative to a generic dating sim.
I'm working on a visual novel that I'm also writing myself but I need to collaborate with a writer who's also passionate about writing psychologically deep stories. Or generally dark themes.
The game is safe for work, it does not have horror, but it will have a bit of thriller.
The story is about a jaded college student who meets three other unusual students that have a fascination with him.

Notice the mouth animation is slower than the audio. It's particularly noticeable after around 1:04 with the longer lines.
I appreciate your response. Awesome work with the plugin by the way. I wish I could make it work for the game, so any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. If you need to check the code let me know what parts.
I'm looking for a project as a Ren'py programmer. I've worked on Verdunville Mind Unto Psycho and DereCafe as examples.
I'm flexible about the payment rate, it depends on your budget and project size.
Preferably a short VN (30min~2 hours), but can be a longer VN if the pay is worth it.
I can code almost anything needed for a classic VN (including points systems, branching, menus, animations if needed, what have you etc.) and up your VN's quality with miscellaneous GUI work. I can also figure out additional features, for example my game has a built-in simple notebook function. I can export your VN for Web play and Android, as well as the standard Windows, Linux and Mac; icons, load screens and all.

Can you help me out? I have LiveComposite definitions for the sprites and one character has multiple sprites. How do I combine that with layeredimage definitions? It shows a greyed out character for the mouth on top of the sprite. It seems to be looking for images with general names, but I don't know how it defined those. "[character name with capital letter][empty space]mouth_X". If you need more info let me know.
edit: I decided to learn layeredimages, and I got the character talking. I'll have to define a different character and change the whole script for every different default mouth expression and a night version of the mouths. However, I have an issue. The character talking is really slow. While the lipsynch works, and the whole game runs without issue or stutter as I have a lot of stuff going on with it, for some reason the lipsynch has trouble with longer sentence audio lipsynching, and displays the images slower. Also, cps dialogue displaying doesn't work with the lipsynch, it shows the dialogue instantly instead of by the number for cps provided in options. Any advice?
Wow thank you so much for the incredible review. And for your kind words. I'm happy that you enjoyed it.
I feel embarrassed about the page, and the font, sorry about the issue. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, I'll work on the page.
And yes, I will only confirm that Skyler and Corin do have their own dedicated romance routes which will take the narrative in a whole new direction.
I hope the full game will be something memorable. I'll do my best.
And, all the best!
Is it possible to use already written stories or plays? Like by Sophocles, Ovid, Apollonius of Rhodes, or Nathaniel Hawthorne? Public domain editions, of course. I would modify lines if needed, but generally the text would be what it is. I didn't see this mentioned, except the word "adapt" which I wasn't sure if it covered this way too. Thanks in advance!
