We're glad to hear that! you for your support <3

Hello,

I am writing to request some help with a potential indexing issue regarding my game. It seems my game missed its initial launch visibility due to how the timestamp was handled after a manual quarantine lift.

Here is the timeline of the situation:

  1. I originally published my game 17 days ago, and it was placed in the standard review queue.
  2. A staff member kindly lifted the quarantine manually for me a few days ago after I asked in the community forum.
  3. The Issue: It appears that during the manual approval, the system did not update my game's indexing timestamp to the current date. I noticed that games clearing the automated queue receive a freshness bump and appear in the "Most Recent" feeds for their specific tags. However, my game was indexed strictly based on the original 17-day-old publish date.
  4. Because of this, the game skipped the "Most Recent" feed entirely.
  5. Additionally, I published a Major Update devlog and uploaded new files last night, but it hasn't shown up in the feeds either (possibly due to hitting the cooldown limit based on the old timestamp, or a re-quarantine from the new files).

Could a staff member please look into my game's indexing status and manually refresh the timestamp or trigger the visibility bump that didn't fire during the manual approval process?

Thank you for your time and assistance.

The support team just reached out and confirmed the project is now properly indexed. I really appreciate your time and help! <3

Hi everyone,

First of all, I have read the "Getting Indexed" documentation thoroughly, but I still have a question regarding our specific situation, which is why I am asking the community for advice.

I’m the developer of an indie game called Mind Shackles. To be completely honest, we made a rookie mistake. We published our game page, but then we kept tweaking, updating, and saving the page settings multiple times in a row.

Because of these rapid edits, our page got flagged with the "This page is under review" warning and is currently not indexed. I completely understand this is an automated security measure and taking those actions was our fault.

As per the forum rules, I believe our page should be indexed because: The game is a legitimate, clean Godot export with no deceptive content. We are currently bringing in high, organic traffic from external communities (over 600 views and multiple collections). However, this warning is confusing our external players who are trying to download the game.

Has any other developer experienced this specific issue after editing their page too much? Did it eventually resolve on its own for you, or did you have to do something specific on your end to clear the automated flag?

If anyone has any insights or past experiences to share, I would really appreciate it. (Support Ticket ID: 360555)
