Jones in the Fast Lane (1990) was one of those games I played obsessively as a kid. You had 24 weeks to go from broke to rich — juggling a job, food, rent, education, health. Simple loop, weirdly addictive.
I rebuilt it from scratch as a browser game with some upgrades and adjustments: a stock market, career tracks (tech, law, healthcare, creative), housing upgrades, pets, a few characters to interact with, and a global leaderboard.
It's free and runs in the browser — no install, no account needed.
