Thanks a lot for checking it out! I plan on updating the demo soon, so if you have any feedbacks please let me know!

Thank you so much for playing! I'll be updating the demo soon with some more features and spooky moments, aswell as providing a press kit to help content creators, too. Glad you liked it!

Yeah but I'm not selling anything, its a demo. The game is free.

Firstly, I have already read both the Getting indexed on Search & Browse and Unofficial search and indexing FAQ.

This post is regarding the indexation of my latest page, which is a demo for a commercial game I'm working on.
While it is a horror game, it has no NSFW elements. I first published it on October 8th, at 12 AM in my local time.

After noticing it wasn't showing up anywhere in the site outside direct links, I initially thought there had been a problem with the indexing process, since I have never experienced anything of the sort in my previous page releases on itch (which were some years ago). Therefore, I made the mistake of trying to re-publish the page (by setting it to draft and then public again), and I'm pretty sure this has delayed my indexing process even more.

The main reason for me to post this topic is because I'm in the middle of a marketing campaign for this game and it would be very important for me to know what is the expected time for a page to be indexed nowadays, since I was counting with Itch's own discoverability and traffic. The unofficial FAQ barely gives you an estimate and tells you that it could take anywhere from a day to a "long time" if your page doesn't have traffic from outside itch. However, This rule doesn't seem to apply to a lot of games that seem to be instantly indexed when I browse the "latest games" category.

Why is this indexing taking so long to begin with in my case? And what is the expected time for the game to be indexed? As far as I know, my account has had no suspicious activity, and the game itself is totally Safe for Work. I wouldn't be making this post if it didn't seem that the indexing system was working fine for a lot of other games, so I'm trying to understand what is the issue on this particular case.

Thank you so much! I was thinking about exploring ways to continue the development of this particular idea, so a continuation is not off the table. I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks!

Thank you! The gameplay ended up being a bit slow, so I'll be sure to check out ways to make future projects play less sluggish.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it! :D

Thank you! The repetitiveness of the few sounds the game has was something that bothered me too, so I'll keep in mind to variate them in future projects.

Thank you so much!

Thanks!

Thank you! :D

Thank you so much!

Thank you for your feedback!

Thank you! I'll check it out.

Thank you for the feedback! I'm guessing the lack of keyboard movement and song variety ended up hurting the game a little, and I'll keep that in mind!

Thanks a lot!

Thank you! I'll definitely take a look at your game also!

Thanks a lot! I'll check yours out.

Thank you so much! It's really great to hear that :D

I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks a lot!

Thanks for the feedback! I'm keeping it in mind for future projects!

Thank you so much!

Thanks for your feedback! I guess keyboard movement was the most requested feature, which I'll plan to add to any future puzzle games.

Thanks a lot! I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks!

Great art, great mechanics, and incredible use of thematics! I loved this one!

Very interesting concept and mechanics! Personally I've never seen anything like it. The instructions were a bit unclear at first, but I managed to figure out how it worked. Really great game!

Very cool concept and execution. It's rare to see a dating sim which isnt in the perspective of a male protagonist. Also, very impressive visual effects and post-processing for the arcade game! And really create usage of the thematics aswell. Really great!

Incredibly looking game! Amazing use of the thematic aswell. It's really impressive the amount of UI, systems and overall presentation of this game. Really great stuff!

Very cool game! I found the dogs very cute, too. I would have liked to save Laika aswell...
Personally I found the game very challenging, since you have no invincibility frames and no feedback regarding the cooldown to switch dimensions, but playing the game was very fun!

Thank you!

Thanks! :D

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback! Those are good points, which I would like to implement if I had a little more time. About running the game on Mac, I had no idea about that problem. Thanks for letting me know!

Thank you so much! :D
