Hello, let me jump into this 10 year old thread and just say I am now considering myself an indie game developer, I guess.  I am a content creator but not here to promote that really, I have been coding casually and sometimes for money since I was about 10 (I am now almost 42 which should be a meaningful year), I've completed 2 Super Mario World ROM Hacks including one with lots of custom ASM, and I have now started in on a sort of dream project (finishing a game is the first step lol), it is in C++ and I am building the engine myself using SDL2 and lots of time on my linux mint laptop, as well as keeping windows in mind on my favorite material belonging (my PC).

I am unearthing this old account, I might post some other random stuff from Unity that I want to just put out there, but for now enjoy my technically completed games that were mostly made for game jams, and never picked up where I left off.  And eventually I will reveal more about this project as I actually design it, but it is inspired by the rogue-[like/lite] genres, and also Xenogears which is the best retro game of all time, no question.  But I hate to draw comparisons to other games, so I will get a demo out and let people make their own conclusions.

This was lots of fun, I was hooked immediately!  It was challenging at first but then as you gained more help it got easier, which fits the concept of the game and the jam concept perfectly.

Also the design was intuitive, a simple concept that was then expanded on and ramped up, and I loved the 'scripted death' at the beginning to give you a clear idea of the end goal.

One small thing is that by the end of the run I was getting major lag, at least on the web version.  Probably on my end since I'm running this on a much lower end laptop than anyone in their right mind should be using.

Thanks for playing and for the constructive feedback!  Guess I hid those spirits better than I thought :)

The world needs more good co-op games like this one, fluid movement, great visuals and great concept!

I don't know why but I love the brick texture on the walls, and also there is something strangely addicting about just walking forward and not stopping. Never....ever...stopping.
