will you ever make a male version of all these as well? I really like the white haired one and wanted to get a male and female version so you can choose male or female at start of game for mc. would probably use the other 2 designs as unlockable skins too. very nice pack!

awesome! thank you! I have an idea for a western high noon duel themed rhythm game that I could use Azmah and Haloui for, ill credit you and share it if/when I make it.

whats the license?

what is the license?

yes I definitely have a ton to learn and thanks for letting me know about coyote time! I appreciate the feedback!

very nice!

Nice work! Id just say maybe make the out of bounds areas a different shade

Cute game! Only things id say is that it needs noise it feel too much like a blank canvas, could use some obstacles in playable area and outside of the playable area could use some noise too just to give the game some life. Only other thing I can say is maybe adding levels milestones and you switch to a new map or buyable areas. otherwise very cute and fun!

I definitely like the game concept. My only issue is the difficulty with the movement, realistically it makes sense that youd keep moving but makes it pretty hard, maybe add a animation for a stabilizing thruster to make it make sense and make it so you glide forward only a certain amount after letting go of movement key. also maybe using mouse for aiming would help make it a lil easier to aim and more accurate. Otherwise I love the concept and style.

Very nice! definitely a good time kill, its feels nice and is entertaining. good job!

I tried to make a browser game near the end but I couldnt because I used volumetric fog and switching to compatibility removed it all. I didnt have time to figure it put before the testing phase of the jam. most the stuff I did in the game I all learned throughout the jam, before it all id done is make a 3rd person cam character controller with a raycast wall jumping. I did want to do the windows for the terminals initially but while learning it I figured implementing it to the dialogue would be easier and then I just didnt have time to change it. I think now I can do it and will next time. As for the lights and particles and moving objects thats all entirely beyond me. I messed a lil with particles trying to make a sandstorm but didnt work out. never touched shaders so no idea how for lights. I kinda liked looking down and seeing the robot chest but some animations were a lil glitchy cus of it. Idk why I didnt even think to hide the body along with the head though. ill keep that in mind next time. I wanted to keep the movement slow. I did have a sprint but as the game was short I kept the player slow, plus I wanted it more of a walking sim originally. the plan kinda changed with lack of needed assets so I added the parkour to fill space. Not the greatest decision but whatever. Some kinda tension or chance of failure wouldve been good. With this experience, next time ill keep that in mind. Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate it and its very valuable!

This is downright incredible!

I do like the camera style just needs to be fine tuned so it doesnt feel so drastic/jarring

Very nice! The movement and shooting feels nice, gives me a lil bit of a risk of rain 2 feel. I think the drone aspect wasnt the best move as it seems to have no real purpose and doesnt make a ton of sense. almost feels like you put 2 separate game paths together instead of choosing one and didnt get around to implementing them together. The drone is cool and could be very useful for a different game, just doesnt super fit into the feel/vibe. Otherwise it feels decent and shooting things is fun. could add the ability to jump while sprinting though.

I love the sword whip thing! very cool! the camera system you have is very jarring and almost makes me sick while running through with the sudden perspective changes. maybe add a buffer to the cam changes idk how you would do it in this scenario to fit the game but if this was like a game taking place in a compound or office you could do like white noise between changes to make it less jarring. otherwise I do like the cam mechanic and the game style!

very cool! I was a lil confused though with needing to collect parts from the enemies but not seeing anything I circled around the area a few times until the dialogue kicked in.

(1 edit)

very cute! a simple yet entertaining game. Only thing for me was how the controls felt, I may just be being picky but I wouldve preferred using A and D to go counter clockwise and clockwise then space to jump. just felt awkward with the arrows. probably just me though.

very charming game!

thanks I will do. the one image I have is dark cus the fog ill edit it and take some more photos to showcase

I started learning programming and stuff about a month ago with Godot and about 2 weeks in decided to join a 2 week game jam as a challenge to myself and a way to force myself to learn and put things together to make something. https://owlonthehill.itch.io/whispers-of-the-red-planet heres my first game. the one for the game jam Whispers of the Red Planet. its pretty short but im happy I made something. This pack helped me immensely to make the environments for the 3 scenes in my game.

I used your spaceship at the takeoff scene and I have it crash landed in main scene. I didnt use the landing gear as I couldnt get the texture to work in Godot but likely user error on my part.

I used your robot as the mc although its first person so you dont really see much. I also used your sci-fi megapack but it didnt have comments enabled on page.
