I'm not much of a horror games player, so the jump scares did get me. I knew that they were just untextured models and I'm just a tester, but the sounds and stuff were done well enough to cause some proper goosepumps and jumpiness in me :D.
So well done! The premise is quite clever as well.
It would have been cool, if I had even more commands that I could do.
Overall a great job!

I'm impressed on how much story and personality have you managed to put in in just 24hrs. Amazing! Fits the theme really well. I also like the art, it really stands out and captures the old nintendo game vibe really well. Great job!

The enemies have quite a lot of health, so I understand why BeetleGame felt stuck. Maybe a smoother damage curve would be better.
The fps camera was a bit wonky, I think opening up the Y-axis would have made the overall feel much better - placing traps would be more accurate, attacking monsters with sytche would feel better etc.
I would also suggest to make the map a bit smaller, as it took a long time for the enemies to arrive.

Overall I think the idea is there and there is something to work with. Nice job!

The art is so cool, definitely stands out from the others! It would have been nice to have some other options and factors to choose the survivors for. I think I did best when it was only me and 1 other person.
I also thought that maybe the people were anomalies or monsters, because occasionally some screen glitches happened, but it was probably just added for effect. Would have been a cool feature tho, to notice if there is anything strange or outwordly about the people when they come.
Cool game overall!

Cool, I was just recently looking at some TD games and this game perfectly matched my needs. Loved that the character can be part of the defense, so you have something to do while the wave is running.
The only change I would make is to attack where the mouse is pointing - the first few waves were a bit stressful as I trying to move out of the way of the monsters, but also shoot them at all the time, so yeah.

Great game overall!

Cool little game, I managed to finish with 2 deaths. As others have suggested, more enemies would have been nice, but the fact that there were multiple levels was a good bonus. I initially thought it would just be an endless survival, but having levels, gave me, and probably will give others, a good goal to reach.

Great job!

Really cool twist on an old,  but great idea. Not failing immediately and having a change to remove ghosts was really good addition, as it allows bad players like myself also complete levels.
Well made game overall!

haha, yeah, the mouse settings was needed for myself as well :D.
Thank you for putting in the time and effort in trying the game out!

Thank you for the kind words!
Unfortunately, no, there isn't a definitive end to it as of now. MVP scope was to have it score-based and for you to be able to also submit the score, but as per usual, just didn't have the time.

I am open to suggestions as of what the objectives could be for the game.

Thanks again for putting in the time and effort in trying out the game!

That wasn't my intention when putting in the silver mannequin man, but hey, I'm glad you enjoyed it. :D
Thanks for playing!

Very good job for a first attempt at psx style graphics. Took some time and clicking around, but managed to play it through. Overall a good job !

Are there multiple endings to the game? Overall was interesting to try to find clues and quickly blend in. Nicely done!

Really good camera setup at house, I wish had that many cameras at my home. Overall a solid entry and cool idea, fits the theme well. Great job!

If rollbacks were as simple IRL. Just blindly accepting and enjoying some office drama.
Really loved the art of Dr. Adam.

Overall a good experience, great job!

Pretty cool and for such a short time, pretty polished and complete game! Nice job!

Apparently I need to work on my orientation skills, constantly ran into dead-ends in the maze. Boss was pretty health heavy as well. Pretty cool!

I don't know who "forced" you to make art, but it's awesome. Grandpa is badass!

Latex man!? That's funny, I can't unsee it now :D.
Thanks for playing!

nice, that worked! Saw the creepy little pumpkins running around after growing them. Really well modeled! Thank you!
If anyone has issues with game being completely black, try to use settings to turn the brightness up to 2 before starting the game.

Fun work and fun nightmares, of course I stayed in the village forever!

I couldn't get past the very first step. Collected the dirt cans form the shed, but didn't find the dirt pile? maybe if the author comments some next steps, I would love to try again :)

(1 edit)

the atmosphere and sounds were really well done, really gave me chills. Fortunately the clock wasn't scary, so I still got a good nights sleep after playing it :D

Some kind of bidding system would have been nice here, so the player could improve their changes. Currently it didn't really matter if you folded or checked,  since if lost or you folded , you always lost health anyway.

really good visuals, felt like I wasn't playing a jam game. I wonder where you found all the time for this, many sleepless night? :D.

I really felt it needed some air-strafing in the platforming sections, otherwise I didn't mind the platforming parts - brought back counter-strike kz memories.

I also managed to fall into the void in the 4(heaven like level?) where I went all the way back on the bridge and just fell down.

Good job!

Yeah, we ran out of time for proper instructions.
You wouldn't really wait for the morning, since you can go to sleep, which fast forwards the time to the morning. It's recommended to do any stock purchases from the PC after the shift, before going to sleep.
But thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback!

There is lack of instructions, so I will give my own: you can start the mission by going to the bottom center building, press "e" and that's where things start to happen.
You are a delivery android, taking packages to different buildings. There are some trickery stuff , which was nice.
The collision on street lamps was a bit tedious tho, as I constantly bumped into them when trying to get to the buildings..
I am wondering, what the special skill was? I unlocked it and nothing happened when pressing Q, maybe was just not enough time to implement

real solid submission,  capturing both the trickery and the time aspect.  I indeed got fooled, should have read the comments before decripting the letter. Time well spent!
