The enemies have quite a lot of health, so I understand why BeetleGame felt stuck. Maybe a smoother damage curve would be better.
The fps camera was a bit wonky, I think opening up the Y-axis would have made the overall feel much better - placing traps would be more accurate, attacking monsters with sytche would feel better etc.
I would also suggest to make the map a bit smaller, as it took a long time for the enemies to arrive.

Overall I think the idea is there and there is something to work with. Nice job!

My initial idea was that the traps would be the main way to kill enemies, and if the player ran out of money or placed the traps poorly, they could still attack enemies directly — but only within a certain area of the map or after some time.
However, I think I underestimated the 4-day limit to finish and balance the game, so it ended up not making much sense to require so many hits to defeat each enemy.
