But that'll speed up the game and I've gotten some complaints about spamming being very effective. Well, there's always a middle ground and I hope I can find it. Thanks again!

Thanks a lot. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I haven't had the chance to play Sifu but I watched a lot of videos while trying to make this game. I kept pushing off adding proper block animations until it was too late but I'll fix that in a post jam update. And there's no way to break grabs but I'll consider that. Thanks again. 

I had to lower the gun's strength and use the longer animation to avoid spamming (which you can still do, and then that led to adding in some invulnerable attacks for the bosses and I just kept going). There's some balancing to do, but I'm glad you found it interesting. Thank you!

Also, I originally wanted only monsters/creatures, but after the first one, I decided to switch to have more interesting characters because they're just silhouettes.

This was a unique and fun take on the theme. It took me a while to get the hang of it though.

The controls are really responsive and the art is lovely. Nice work.

Very nice work. The exchange mechanic is nice and the game feels really good to play.

I love the art and the general vibe. it also looks and feels great when moving around and attacking. I used the arrow keys because the WASD weren't working. maybe that's my keyboard layout though, because merlinott said they switched to a french layout. Awesome work.

This game is beautiful. The art, the music, everything. The switching mechanic is also really cool. The parry is difficult though.

The controls took some getting used to, but it's fun and they're very unique. But I ended up standing still and trading blows with the boss until one of us won. It's a nice game. The art is awesome too.
