Cool Stuff!

I found the MC annoying at first, but once I got a bit farther into the story I understood why he's written the way he is.  His personality sets up terrific tension between the MC and the monster girls.

Also I normally am not into Femdom but here it's incredible done and the monsters are much more than just regular women.

Fair enough.  Another option is you could put something like "You can support support Lewd Mod at...", instead of "us" or "me".

Good line work. Style!

I wouldn't want to click the ban button.

Thanks!!

I'm still trying to figure out how to sustain myself financially.  I believe, I'd have to be capable of producing content at a much faster rate to be able to make ends meet, either to be able to create quality content fast enough to sustain a patreon, or create enough high quality content for people to buy to sustain myself.  I'm far off from either goal.

It seems like many successful creators in this genera (adult VN's) solve this problem by using Ren-Py, which makes creating common VN  functionality quick, and by either contracting out the art or by using a mostly automated solution for the art, such as using Daz-3D models or ripped or screen-shotted models.  Or if they make their own art, they re-use the same images many times.

I do have some experience using some of those methods.  I made a controversial adult V/N with Ren-Py which got banned, and I got doxed and fired anyways lol.  But now, I really do want to make high quality stuff, even if the end result is me starving to death in a gutter somewhere.

For sure, that's not the goal.  My goal is to make high quality stuff and sustain myself.  Right now, I'm re-working my models and tech before my next project.  I obsess over the details, but if all goes well I'll pick up enough speed to sustain myself over the next year.  If not, I'll still have created a few cool things.

I see you're making an adult VN as well.  Are you full time?  You wrote "us" in LewdMod's description, it means you have a team?  Any thoughts on time management or things you've learned so far?  I predict the adult games/VN industry will expand at least 10x over the coming decade with increasing world wide internet coverage, and the decrease in... you know... actual relationships lol.

(1 edit)

I just finished an erotic Lesbian/Futa visual Sci-fi visual novel (kinetic novel).  I have set a minimum price but there's a free demo.

It's the result of a year's worth of work full time.  I've just been living off only my savings, so hopefully I can figure out some way surviving as that runs out to keep working on these.

In this past year I've released a couple other projects as I've been improving my technology but "Soft Serve" is my first complete polished visual novel.  My idea with it, is instead of using something like re-py I'd use a 3D game engine so every page is 3D and I can do some simple real time animations.  Needless to say that was far more challenging than even I thought, and I've overcome countless unexpected hurdles but I'm happy with how things turned out.

Link is NSFW, so don't click if you are offended by 3d anime boobs.

As some one who is banned for life from PayPal, I can tell you that they do not allow adult content.  It's very specific in their terms of service, which I didn't completely read until after they banned me.

Also, when they ban you they freeze your account for six months so they can collect earnings from your work without paying you, then they keep the money because you are in violation of their terms of service.  Very slimy company.

It's also why I use SubscribeStar and not Paytreon.  Paytreon uses PayPal under the hood so any one creating adult content is at risk for loosing all of their earnings if they choose to use Paytreon.  This is particularly dangerous if they need that money to live.

Sorry, I just wanted to let you know that I share in your frustration but that there are other options out there.
