I really like this game, just wanted to say that you have done a wonderful job and should be proud of this awesome demo you've created. I can definitely se the love and care that's been put into the art, music, dialogue and gameplay. And having played a lot of Nowhere Prophet, this is a really nice change of pace being faster overall.
Some key pieces of feedback quality of life wise:
1. Enemies need a * or something to show they have an effect on their battlefield small pictures would be nice to have a keyword thing or at least a picture symbology like a small sphere to show a card gives its allies a barrier. I kept forgetting during gameplay that a specific enemy had an effect.
2. It would be nice to have a sword to show melee or ranged on each card so you don't have to click inside of it.
3. Enemies need a range to show how far and where they'll walk so you can avoid melee enemies.
4. This is just a personal opinion, but I would rather have the option or completely remove the emojis because it feels like the dialogue is texting on a phone and makes it hard to take seriously especially when you are talking to a tyrant who's enslaved and killed people and just reacting with an angry face emoji. I think the dialogue implies what emotion there is and it is unnecessary.
