Hi everyone! I'm an indie developer working on Sword No, a real-time tactics game inspired by games like Shadow Tactics and Commandos, but set in a world of Chinese wuxia martial arts.
Instead of commanding a squad, you control a lone martial artist who must infiltrate guarded locations, avoid enemy sightlines, and complete objectives using stealth, acupoint strikes, distractions, and qinggong (light-footed rooftop movement).
One of the things I wanted to explore is what happens when stealth goes wrong. Getting spotted doesn't always mean the mission is over — you might use your martial arts and mobility to escape across rooftops while the guards search for you.
The game features:
- Stealth based on enemy vision cones and patrols
- Acupoint strikes and other martial arts abilities
- Distractions to manipulate enemy movement
- Rooftop infiltration and high-risk escapes
- Randomly assembled levels and unlockable skills
I'm a solo developer, and the game is currently playable as a free demo on itch.io. I'm still working on expanding the available environment modules and polishing the experience.

Here's a gameplay video showing the current state of the game:
I'd be interested to hear what fans of stealth tactics games think, especially about the combination of traditional stealth and wuxia-style mobility. Thanks for taking a look!
