Alright so played through the whole thing between yesterday and today and I like to make overly serious reviews so here goes

I'll start with the positive, as well as a little preface because I'll be YAPPING
I really liked the story and I WILL most likely keep playing when updates come out.

Story's been pretty enjoyable, feels like a regular slice of life harem with characters that have actual personality, an MC who's not the cliché worthless loser incapable of anything just getting lucky because he's somewhat kind, instead he has character, has things he's good at without being a perfect mary sue, overall it's pretty well done.
I don't have many specifics here because it flows pretty well most of the time, I'll be most specific for negatives of course, but yeah it's been a cool story that you can totally appreciate even without the NSFW stuff.

Now onto the negatives and I know this side will be disputed, might also sound like a conspiracy theory.

I'll be straightforward the biggest downside is that some dialogue feel heavily AI. Not to say that I think the general plot is, but more so some parts of conversation here and there, as if they were ran through AI for a quick check maybe to make it longer or to correct mistakes.
The structure sometimes just screams AI, not so much in chapter 1.2 (both parts) but in 1.0 I could feel a lot of it, I do want to give you the benefit of the doubt but at the same time I feel it is very likely some sort of run through an LLM was made.

A lot of giveways are things like "that's growth" "that's progress" which alone would be nothing but it happens A LOT and it's a phrasing that AI loves, there's also the use of m dash which I haven't noticed much until I went to look at the character descriptions in Status
Mia does not have any, neither do Nick and Tim and reaching Yumi she doesn't have any either, but Jade, Suzzie and Airi all have a few.
I feel this fits with my theory of it being used in 1.0 but not in the prologue and 1.2 (or at least not as much)

As for miscalleneous stuff, there's a few typos I've notice 4 of them in part 1.0 but nothing bothersome

I'll keep playing the game, I don't think past usage should penalise you for future update if you stop using it(or if you never used it in the first place, AI mimics writers after all so that's a possibility as well)You probably won't take this review well anyway but I just wanted to say I don't have any ill will, and I enjoyed your game

Honestly fucking peak, I don't remember how good Stormside was since the last time I played was so long ago but this game is good.
Dialogue is funny, the scene where you're moderating chat is so stupid, some comments are absolutely brain rotted I love it, NSFW scenes are pretty damn good too, solid game so far

Unethical gooning right here, wish we could block creators, or better yet a proper AI tag that we can add to a personal blacklist to never be recommended similar slop

I usually make long ass "reviews" after a chapter but I think we've got the gist of what I think now so I'll just say this : absolute fucking cinema, the only game of the adult category that I'm genuinely considering recommending to people

Honestly surprisingly good game, as someone who plays way too many adult VNs on here I can say that this has a proper, enjoyable story which many of games in this category lack
It's nothing world changing of course, but it's enough to keep yourself invested in the characters and story.
Pacing is relatively fine for now too, not too slow not too fast, you could remove the 18+ scenes from this game and still have it be an enjoyable read
I'll be waiting for more updates

How many chapters are left approximately before the story ends ? 

I do hope we get a few epilogue chapters as well but I'm excited about replaying the full story once it's completed, it has been such a nice surprise finding out how great this game is

This game is worth every single second
If at first I was put off by the character style (when I first started using Itch I mostly played games with models like in Eternum, MBML and Sicae), and decided not to play this game

I ended up picking it up when I found it had 51 chapters, I liked the funny, nonsensical start.
Characters were endearing, the writing was already pretty good and it seemed like a cool, chill game to play while waiting for other updates.
Then I got to the more serious parts of the story and was completely pulled in, the story became so genuinely good that I couldn't stop, I had to see more.

I basically played this nonstop for two day and caught up to the latest chapter, and I loved every second of it
I am so incredibly glad to have started playing it at a late stage of development, I am thankful for past me for being stupid and deleting when I found out I couldn't change MC's name, because it allowed me to find this actual masterpiece at a stage where I could properly enjoy it.

Playing again I was reminded of the one main issue this game has : continuity between different character stories

To be more specific our main character is what's lacking, because the story is planned separately with each character/related characters, our MC will learn something important in one storyline, then have absolutely no idea what it is in another
I think I already made a comment about this quite a while ago, about how there should be more "walls" stopping you from progressing in one story until you've done another, so that you can coordinate which information MC is aware of in all storylines
It would take a lot of work, unfortunaly, both putting those walls there and modifying dialogues to fit the wanted results, it would also restrict freedom quite a bit, but I think it would make the plot a lot more enjoyable.

It's mostly because it's an out of appstore app, doesn't it warn you regardles of what you try to download ?
I see similar warnings all the time when downloading foreign apps with an APK for example, it's mostly safe as long as you don't download something really obscure and untrustworthy

kinda makes me want a full revamp of your other game, to see what shape it would take with your current experience

No worries you have nothing to apologize for, might just be me since I'm kind of out of new things to play and I'm looking for something to match my favorites on here

Honestly it's not bad but it just has problems because of things not being planned properly

I'm avoiding specifics to not spoil anyone but some scenes feel really random, especially the relationships, their progression is insanely fast for no reason. There are good aspects like O said its not all bad, it was still good enough to stick to the end, although keeping focus wasnt always easy. Itonically I felt like the more enjoyable parts were the start and the latest releases, they felt more fleshed out, more linear and less random. Even if Filo was insufferable.

One thing I can compliment without any "but" is the models, they look good, the hair looks good, many games fuck that one up but not this one

 I'll go give your other game a shot to see how much progress you've made, I'm genuinely hoping to see you grow, because that means better games and who wouldnt want that

pacing is this game's biggest ennemy

Trying to get through to the most recent parts, assuming they're better but it's a little hard

Nah, didn't let me download it on the phone because of said compatibility issue, but it's fine I just played it on pc instead

Just good enough to be like "Oh nice an update", without being so overwhelmingly amazing that you're just foaming at the mouth waiting for the next update
I think that's the sweet spot, I've been enjoying it so far whenever I see a new chapter drop

You can't, that's the whole point he keeps coming back stronger and stronger, and even if you somehow manage to beat him at his best, he still comes back
One mistake is all it takes for you to lose, your defeat is inevitable and it's only a matter of time

Was looking for stuff I can play on my phone as I usually play on pc and want to diversify a bit, bought this and it seems none of the android versions are compatible with my device

From what I understood, no it isn't dead
But everything is getting remade, along with basically (at least) doubling the amount of content, which understandably takes a shit ton of time for a single dev

The previous post was stated to be the last one before the update, so while it was quite a while ago, I don't think it would have been given up on after so long

Dev worked hard on this and if it really was dead I'm assuming they would have at least released what they currently have. So this is one of those "No news is good news" situation, it means things are moving forward without any major issues that would require them to keep in touch with us. Let's stay patient I believe it'll be here sooner rather than later

Chapters were surprisingly long, which was a good thing
Dev definitely likes frekkles a lot

Writing is a little bit clumsy here and there, there's a couple crazy lines like the "flirty option" when you meet Lexi for the first time and tell her she owes you a blowjob, left me flabbergasted lmao
MC shit talks himself a lot it gets kind of cringe but other characters do give him a little bit of shit for it so it kinda makes up for it, he gets called edgy a few times and he totally deserves it
Overall it was pretty enjoyable and I'll be waiting for the next updates

Hey, I took a little break but I'm here and I just finished chapter 51
Let me just, talk about the light stuff first, the french needs some corrections. It's my first language so if you'd like we could talk on discord a little and if you agree I can change the phrases to make it so they're gammatically correct while also sticking as close as possible to your original artistic view

Now for the actual content I might need some time to process some things, I did 50 and 51 together, lot of time paradoxes and things that I'll need to make sure I understood properly
I really want to avoid spoiling anyone who might come across this reply so I'll stay as vague as I can

This really felt like it turned everything upside down, in a good way of course. I had made some predictions as the story unfolded and while not all of them were wrong, it was nowhere near what was actually happening. 
Which is amazing. The duality of characters finding out what they are, or what they *aren't*.
Discovering these as a player, not having a choice but just going forward hoping to get answers to the many new questions in my head, it created a feeling of heavyness much greater than anything this game had before. But it couldn't have happened without the story staying so consistent throughout all of these chapters, no matter how confusing they became.
It made no sense but it made so much sense at the same time, not claiming I understood everything of course I most likely missed stuff after all I just spend multiple hours reading this.
Caught myself going back a few lines, reading them again and again sometimes, making sure I at least had a proper, deliberate thought about them because it felt like if I didn't I would lose my understanding of what was happening.
The revelations kept coming in one after the other, it felt kind of like seeing a puzzle completing itself and trying to slow it down so you can observe *how*

A lot felt like it was just ideas coming back and being stuck together, I just needed to see more, the few (rare I have to admit, don't beat yourself up over this) typos that appeared didn't even register I just needed to go forward.

I have like 500go of visual novels downloaded from Itch (or found thanks to itch) on my computer and out of all of them, very few made me feel like this. I am glad I decided to download this game. I wish I had downloaded it before, but I also wish I hadn't found it until it was completely finished, so that I could get more and not get cut after the very emotional end of chapter that was given.

I went from thinking this was a slightly above average "discover your heritage and enjoy your harem with a dumb, pure, horny mc" game in the first few chapters, to actually playing it and it being so much more.

I might be glazing a little hard, I don't know, I'm still high on the feelings of the last few chapters, hadn't mentionned it but I also really loved Auxo's part, even if those last revelations make me doubt her sincerity a little.

Also side note, that 4th wall break stuff was somehow a nice break, it was in a very critical moment but it wasn't obnoxious, just a fun little surprise so you could breathe before it all went to shit again.

Anyways, you asked to let you know of my thoughts once I finished the chapter, I hope I did not disappoint

Honestly sucks that you saw this one and replied to it, but not my newest comment. I was on chapter 10 or so when I wrote this one. Wrote a new one today a couple chapters after finishing with Auxo.
I wasn't mean in this review so your reply confuses me, makes me frustrated a little bit even. I called it a banger, I said "story's been amazing so far" while pointing to the serious undertones that had started to show up, as a positive thing.
Sure I guess I did say it's not one of the best things to exist, not one of the best games on here, but I also said it's pretty close to it.
Idk, your reply just feels like you thought I didn't like the game and it's kind of annoying since that's not at all what I said

After going way further than my original review (basically spent all my free time on this game for the past few days) I have a few more things to say and a few of my original opinions that need rectification

This game is much greater than I originally thought, genuinely expected it to be a dumb aha game but it's so much more.
The main character has what's most important for a main character : flaws. It's not his being stupid, it's his self doubt, living for others without thinking of himself, thinking he isn't worthy of being loved while chasing after that love.
He is portrayed as charismatic, confident, the kind of character to never overthink and just do what feels right, he is the light and the core of everything that is happening in the story, but it's never enough.
Things never go perfectly.
Each arc ends "well" but the sacrifice for said good ending gets bigger each time it's not some dumb "aha overpowered mc go brrr" him and the entire main cast all have to give up something at some point in order for them to keep walking their path.

It may seem really obvious when just said like this but it's something that is very important to keep a story rooted, keep it interesting and make it so the player really feels like everything happening has a meaning and is important to the story. 
Even really popular shows and games often don't apply this, they may get away with it for multiple reasons, but it's always better to have it than not, at least in my opinion.

Anyways, I'm really trying to avoid spoiling anything here so here comes the closure on this short review : 

This game is absolutely worth being played if you're more story oriented.
The sex scenes aren't bad, the first few are even voiced and it does kinda get you, but that's about all there is. I'd say in this game the scenes aren't there so you can do your usual arm workout but mostly to add to the story. Of course that doesn't apply to all of them, but I find that a lot do.
The story itself is pretty cool, I can't explain in detail since again, I'm trying not to spoil anything, but while it can seem a little "childish" (?) and idiotic at first, it picks up the pace and I haven't found myself skipping text out of boredom but only out of anxiousness and need for answers (always regretted it after a couple lines and went back regardless but still)

Sooo yeah, I think this game is worth playing, and unlike I originally thought, it definitely has its spot in the good or even great games available on Itch, it's not just "decent" like I originally thought, it was a pleasant surprise.

I installed this out of desperation for something new to play, I've gone through most if not all of the top  18+ VNS on Itch and I'm left only wanting more (althought the space on my computer is suffering from the sheer amount I have installed) 

I had put off playing this quite a while ago because I didn't like how we couldn't name the protagonist
Got to experience other games until eventually this doesn't bother me anymore so I thought "Why not give it a try?"
It's kind of been a banger, like yeah it's not the best thing i've ever read, or ever seen
But the whole Chad Thundercock dad thing is lowkey hilarious and the VA does an amazing job, the story's been fun so far while also having somewhat of a serious undertone. I also really like these little narration lines calling mc dumb, not saying I want more of them though because we need to keep a balance but it hasn't been over the top so far.

Anyways, I liked this a lot more than I thought, and while it probably won't become one of my favorites (the competition is rough up there) I feel like it definitely earns it's place close under them

Once again a banger chapter, I'm very curious to see how the story will progress, especially the whole rule breaker thing
For now I hope we can rescue and save our brother, and hopefully Nael doesn't just destroy the earth

Actually pretty amazing, went for Dogma right after finishing the available update and I loved both
I have a favorite ofc, which is The Wrath but that just might be because I'm biased and found it before Dogma
Regardless I can't wait for the story to progress, I wish I could go into a coma right now and wake up after all of my favorite games fully released

I just wish we could really show the hero that he was right, that the queen can change and have her relent without dying, have her move on together with him

Don't want to spoil so I'll keep the more specific opinion fr myself but it felt great to finally see them back together, to learn more about the Primordials and to see the current state of the conflict

Can't wait to see more, I love it so far and I can confidently say it's part of my top 3 as far as VNs I found on Itch.Io go

There is not a single doubt in my mind that I WILL enjoy it

The overlapping happens when there's the biggest dialogue parts, it overlaps with the options at the bottom. It doesn't happen often because it's not the main way for dialogue to appear but yeah

For anyone who has the overlapping dialogue issue, simply change font styles, I don't know if they all work but It fixed it for me
I haven't tested swapping back to the original, so more than a fix this is a workaround, but it works

Take as much time as you need to make the new update, I genuinely love the game so far and I'm excited to see the rest, but that also means I care about you the creator, there's no way you can produce a game that fits you or our standards if you don't take care of yourself
Even if you decided to take 6 more months I would still be waiting, just like I have been waiting for Silksong for an eternity already

Doesn't work for me error 0x000007b, it's not the only game that has this problem and I have no idea how to fix it

As Arc said making an option in the game to skip to a certain point would be too complicated because of the sheer amount of different things you can do
If what you mean though is a way to load back to where you were before, there are saves.
Just save the game before closing and load your save when opening the game again, it's not that hard.
Just don't delete the old file before opening the newly updated game, that way you insure your saves being preserved.
