Thank you very much for the detailed reply! I actually remember getting to the part you mention (Gisette interrupting me before MM) in the demo years ago now! This time I somehow overthought it I think by trying to seduce her brother and also sadly missed the Gazebo event.
This game is not to be taken lightly that's for sure even in the story mode, so I actually referred to the booklet a bit before abandoning that save and starting new game as the pirate princess from Hise, pursuing Ria romance route and fortunately I was able to secure her romance before MM and got to the murder plot now (which is all new to me because that's where things ended in demo). I just hope I can finish this route without any problems because Ria deserves all the love and hugs in the world! (in this route I somehow even managed to have Anaele, Emmett and Hamin all in love with me which fortunately all of them took the rejection very well, which was easy really as they are always the most agreeable people in the game xD where-as in my previous route I basically ended with no romance and even no friends)
I actually planned to romance Ria as a shy good natured and non-ambitious widow first before realizing from the booklet that it's literally impossible for you HAVE to be ambitious to even get the widow route! I'm saving the ambitious widow route for Gisette now as it'd make more "sense" I think than my first route (court lady from Corval) given that I'd be from Revaire AND would be ambitious indeed!

btw I had a question. What is the requirement of getting a personal date in week 3? In my first playthrough of the proper game I couldn't get one for Gisette for some reason even though she seemed overall interested in me. I remember to be able to do that in the demo but not here. My relationship stats are almost equal parts friendship, romance and respect, is that the reason? Or was I wrong to also seduce her brother (I figured the way for us to be together would be a political marriage to her brother and looking at the guide I was correct).
Now at my last interview with the MM, there was no romance nor political marriage option so I dropped this playthrough for now to start over. Or is there still a chance for romance at this stage of the game?
So as the game is now in ver 1.12, I'd assume it's finally finished? Or is it still a WIP? I played demo version years ago and really liked it, can't wait to finally play the full version.

For anyone else having this issue, this page also will show in corrupt format but if you choose the option 2 or 3 in the options in top left corner (option 3 worked for me) then click on the bottom left one (to accept changes) it will fix it. :)
I don't know about alpha...usually not much. xD And well there are several romance routes (boys and girls) and at this point they can be pursued individually but it is planned to have only one active romance in the final version of the game as far a I know.
Lots of opportunities if you take the cafe job and also when walking around town (be "friendly" to people you meet).
One good side event for it is the cafe one. Not the one you work at but the one you visit as the customer. There's this man who offers you drink. Go along with him.
Is there any place other than renpy in roaming folder that this game keeps the persistent file? Before downloading the last public ver. I deleted the uni files in the roaming folder to avoid any conflicts, but even though the saves were gone, the persistent data was still there (apparent by the save page, some achievements and the scenes you could skip). I started the game anyway and in many scenes, I got into loops after choices. Not sure it was because of a conflict, but that's my guess.
