You finished the Game! After meeting Dusk its the end of the game, yeah thank you for the feedback. I should have been more clear about the ending. Thank you so much for playing it through, your reaction is exactly how I intended and it makes me happy it was registered! Yes I need to work on my movement skills haha

I thought about that but I think it was because I played Celeste and in Celeste I can't even pass the first level. And I am not good at gaming haha. I guess I was like maybe I shouldn't underestimate these players if I can figure it out then they can. But usually if the game is good enough or world is good enough you would do the most to figure it out. I guess thats what I was testing
I found a diamond in the haystack. I haven't rated a game all 5 stars in everything until I played this. I tried to finish your game but I think you said its not complete yet so I managed to get 2 puzzle pieces from the cave, fishing , and then the running shoes. I exhausted the world to find it but even the old guy said "it might be impossible to find all pieces at this time" What a great demo then! I like how the things you are working on are under construction or blocked off. I loved figuring out I can move the boulders, and loved figuring out how to cheat the race. Now the most important thing I loved was how much it reminded me about Pokemon. I haven't played pokemon in years especially the old pokemon. Its been a while. The "old fishing rod", the fishing mechanic, the multiple dialog with npcs when you hit them more than once on them, the variety of dialog, the twins dialog, the "cave", the boulders blocking the cave and you having to use strength to use them, the running shoes and learning you can run, the under construction areas, the water art, the art in general. There were Japanese styled art based on the scene with the sunset from the clouds and mountains.
I played it thouroughly and its polished, very polished and I wanted to play more!
small bug When you find puzzle piece when fishing it plays the music but then background music doesnt start after you get it
The music is amazing you have a variety of music in the game for when you are in the cave, getting a puzzle, different areas, the twister sound, and more so 5 stars.
I love your game, it made me miss pokemon, it made me realize why old gold or why old games are so good. Why pokemon was good. Why I liked it. (5 stars on theme) I loved figuring it out on my own. Now these days most people don't have the patience to figure out the game's mechanic and need to know the controls for everything or answer on how to do it. But I love games where you learn the controls through the world. And this was done right. Especially because I loved the world enough to keep playing and want to figure it out. You created a beautiful world and honestly this was a huge inspiration to me so thank you. I will save this game.
hey 208tr, I played this game through and I was smiling the whole time because nothing makes me more happy than a quirky story rich game with a unique game mechanic. I already liked what you did with the skip rock mechanic then I became an adult and I needed to pay for dad's surgery, I never concentrated so hard to try to get that damn rock across. Finding a good rock was also cool, ugh so nostalgia. what a great interpretation to the theme, talking about back in the good ole days with pops and now using the same thing he taught us to help him. talking to the other kid with a freaking rock was cool . Would love to collab with you or talk about this game. because its very inspiring actually and I am going to save this game to come back to it.
The graphics are stunning. Really does feel like im in sea. I like the color palette. a lot going on in your game that you implemented for your world. You got the enemy ships attacking you, upgrading your ship, discovering places. Definetly the music through me off it didn't seem like it fit with the game , but the feel and look was done well
I enjoyed the gameplay and the color palette is like this deep blue kind of makes me think i am in a sea. I also enjoy the movement of when you press z and you start smoothly moving and jumping feels good and the game feels fast but sometimes I get stuck but it can feel fun when your avoiding obstacles and moving fast so I like that for sure and avoiding things chasing you like the birds sweeping and moving towards you. Good job with the animation on that. I know you already recognize the bugs with sound but yeah keep making games
Good game i think adding a boss level would be cool for this that shoots lasers and fire, you could have created different levels while keeping the loop the same and having different levels you can still be simple with it like having the balls come from different areas or have areas the ship cant fly in or all the walls are lasers or things are chasing you or the balls are less or more or faster speed. adding more levels with simplicity
I like the story but the controls were hard for me to figure it out. the 3d looking room looked cool, but i think it was hard to figure out how to get out of level 1 because it just kept saying wrong when i needed the sequence again so i just exited out of the game instead of it having me return to where I was.
bro you a genius. Title music is so catchy there is a tune hidden in there that reminds me of a song but couldn't figure out what song it was. Freaking genius with making the attacks automatic and reversing the controls. All around beautifully mechanically designed game . Mechanically this is amazing. This can definetly grow
I have perfect pitch from playing music for so long so this game was really fun for me. I really enjoyed it. You know what would be cool, if you didn't tell the player which one was good or bad and they had to figure out the one that was different although that might be harder. Great job with level design on sound. Pretty innovative game on mimic/sound.
