thanks! I’m glad you’re liking the game ☺️

it says in the license “want to use them in other digital media? Just ask!” So that’s what I’m doing lol seems like you’re okay with it, just want a for sure green light. ☺️

Hey Pizza Doggy,

I'm using the ROT Horror Audio Bundle in a game called The Dungeon Held — a free dungeon-defence roguelite that runs in the browser on itch.io:

https://onemandevelop.itch.io/the-dungeon-held

The bundle is credited on the game page. It's been a great fit; the low ambience under the build phase does a lot of work for me.

The licence covers use in games, but asks me to check before using the audio in other digital media, so I wanted to ask before doing anything.

I'd like to record a short gameplay video with my own voiceover walking new players through the tutorial, and post it to YouTube and Reddit to gather feedback. The game audio would be audible underneath me — music and sound effects, both from the bundle. The video would be free, non-commercial, and would credit the bundle and you by name.

Is that alright? Happy to word the credit however you'd prefer, or to mute the audio entirely if you'd rather I didn't.

Thanks either way — and thanks for putting the bundle out there.

Best regards,

Chris

thank you! Yeah I agree the intuitiveness isn’t quite there and I plan on adding a tutorial wave so the player can understand what everything does and whatnot. The dark room doesn’t remove the traps you’ve placed on that tile whereas clear cell removes everything so there is a slight difference but it’s only really seen when you do that. Another thing I could add to the tutorial!
all in all glad you enjoyed the game and I greatly appreciate the feedback!(: how far did ya make it?

You are the dungeon.

Adventurers march in through the gate. Your core sits at the other

end of a single winding corridor, and everything between the two is

yours to shape; carve the path, line it with traps, post archers in

alcoves, and send minions out to meet whoever survives.

Every run ends eventually. The gold you carry out buys permanent

upgrades, and the Wheel of Mutation grants changes that stick with

your dungeon forever.

100 waves. 10 bosses. 15 minions, 8 traps, 12 terrains.

This is a review build and I'd genuinely like feedbac. Especially on difficulty.

If a wave felt unfair, or too easy, or a mechanic

wasn't clear, tell me in the comments.

Plays in the browser, desktop or mobile. Progress saves automatically.
