Comparing my project to a game as brilliant as Undertale really warms my heart. Thank you for your feedback!

Hey mate, wow, I didn’t expect my game to be analysed in such detail. It’s really nice to see! But I’m afraid I didn’t put that much depth into these elements myself, although it seems I really should have. I was just trying to draw icons for the most popular programmes used by hackers, like Hydra brute force or the Heartbleed exploit. But I liked your ideas so much that I’ll definitely take them into account when I’m finishing off this game)))
Thanks for playing it, and I hope you enjoyed it!
Hi, it’s great to see such detailed feedback. I’ll try to answer your questions now. At the moment, the only consequence of your answers is either the player losing HP (if the answer is wrong), or moving on if the answer is correct. Regarding the large space for the buttons — I’d advise you to play a bit longer and you’ll see that new items and new dialogue options will become available. But I agree, it isn’t made very clear😅
I’ll definitely finish this game and fix all the mistakes!
Thanks for the feedback! The icons represent options in conversations with characters; you need to choose the right item to avoid taking damage and move on. You can figure out which item is the right one from the dialogue with the characters.
After the jam, I’ll work on the gameplay a bit more to make it clearer.
I liked the gameplay; the concept really fits the theme of the jam. But I didn’t like the controls – there’s too much inertia, and the grappling hook doesn’t always work properly (if you fire it at the floor, it pushes you away). And I couldn’t figure out how to finish the game – how do you get out of the museum?
But if you ignore the bugs, I really enjoyed the game)))
