Gosh, what a great game. Artstyle is amazing, upgrades are impactful, items feel important. With the new update the game is top-notch. Finished with all classes, some - multiple times for different builds and can't even pick a favorite, they were all different and cool.

My absolute favorite part is exult,  it turns, let's face it, formulaic skill-taking into making almost all skill and class combos viable and exploratory. I did several grave robber runs just to see what was possible.

You can get pretty big numbers with exult and armor reduction:

Skinless are best for this, since they can dodge the one-shots to allow for more stacking. I also had 88k one time (knight + bulwark + exploit), but didn't screenshot it in time

My only gripe is with how long it takes to reload the game and the unskippable cutscene after first debt repayment. Makes rolling for desired skills a tedious endeavor. A reset button would go a long way towards allowing exult experiments, like stacking exult + exploit + withering strike + samurai for guaranteed crits.

The first 2 battles could also be skipped, as they aren't interesting mechanically and failing the second battle is a death sentence anyway. Maybe this could unlock for each class individually, after first win with said class.

Other than that I spent very enjoyable few hours with your game, thank you very much

p.s.

Scariest thing in the game was a bug when no enemy came out and the game was stuck. Very creepy and killed my run :D

(1 edit)

Villager with ElfLord are op, one-two shotting all enemies. HP scaling doesn't keep up at all: my current strongest enemy has 1800 hp, ElfLord has 3000 attack and 40% crit. Statistically every 2.5 attacks kill everything. With 2 turns of invulnerability it leaves enemies with just 0.5 turns of damage.

Add in an Enchantress to heal them up and an archer as the only hero able to attack from a non-frontline slot and this is objectively the strongest composition.

Well, it would be, if composition actually mattered.

It does not, however, due to the 10% dodge boon. Which can be stacked. Which means eventually you get more than 100% dodge. Which means any comp is absolutely invincible.

So, here's the answer your question:

I can pass infinite waves.

The game itself is great. Very pleasing visuals and gameplay. My favorite features are the ability to refund skill nodes and some of enemies having puzzle-like abilities, requiring some strategic thinking. I also liked that some nodes required opening up nodes from different parts of the tree.

What I didn't like is the prestige. Half the nodes only make prestiges easier, but there's just not enough to prestige for. The whole tree took me maybe 10 minutes to fill up after the first prestige. Either add some more nodes or scrap it.

Finally, it would be great to have better backgrounds (Just generate some with Ai), and the ability to toggle autoboon seperately (I had to play manually for a while to get to the 100% dodge part as fast as possible).

Oh, and my enchantress and archer are hoovering above their spots for some reason, might look into that.

So many cool links to check out. Thank you <3

Oh wow, thank you! I've heard some African dialects, but never anything quite like what is in this game. And today I'll be a little less ignorant about them :>

Such a delightful game!

The words you invented for this world don't seem like snarky references, but actual words

The weird way a lot of the characters speak, and the way they pronounce "g"

The ability to move your tricycle around with your body

Bru keeping his hands in his pants

For me these details add so so much to the already intriguing world. Really wish to see Anxiety Village in one of the next installments!
