I don’t think so at all. It’s just one of the Easter Egg mini games like Astro Chicken in Space Quest or Maniac Mansion in Day of The Tentacle. 

This puzzle had quite a grip on me.

Additionally, are there release notes being provided with each build so we can retest issues?

Thats a very good point. Do the developers have any testing scripts for us to follow? We certainly need a walkthrough guide to test everything. I also think we need to have a more formalised way of reporting bugs ie:

Title, Description, Expected Behaviour and Steps to Reproduce. Maybe device and OS information?

As well as an easier to organise backlog of issues so we can see what is known etc... so we don't report duplicates.

I do the same. I get the feeling (I do this as a developer too) that the devs built and tested their code knowing the exact paths and order in which to trigger things. So when testers come along, we basically break everything.

Yes, this also happened to me too. There’s something about touching that first panel on the right (which does nothing) that causes this issue.

I thought so too, but it's not the duct tape. Look around some more. There are a couple more things you need to do.

Ok, let me go back and try to recreate the exact steps and I'll let you know.

it looks like this happens after looking at/using the disc scratching machine on the right.

After going up stairs using the red pad elevator, and then coming down, I have lost the use of the walking tool. Right clicking and bringing up the action context menu will highlight and animate the other tools except this one.

When you're playing the mini game, hitting escape just kills the entire application before you get a chance to click quit: yes or no. Also, how do you exit the Clucky Bird mini game?

From the pool, when you walked right towards the ladder, did you use the hand tool from a distance  to trigger walking towards and climbing down the ladder, or did you use the walk tool to stand over the top of the ladder and then climb down with the hand tool?

Did you use the hand tool on the first control panel on the right, the one where he says he doesn't understand it?

I think we need a better bug tracking tool. There are good issues found, but they are scattered all around the various threads and I'm sure I've reported duplicates.

Even after rooter is broken, if I go to the 3rd level and walk past the broken steam pipe, rooter will be intact walking with me. Additionally, I can activate the elevator button at a distance and will magically find myself stand in it. 

I find if you interact with the control panel in any way, it will cause Ace to be stuck in place. Either at the base of the ladder or after you swing past the tentacle.

walking clockwise up around the pool triggers the tentacle correctly.

After pulling Ace out of the pool, if you walk Rooter anti-clockwise down and to the right, it should trigger the tentacle to come out, but  instead nothing happens and the windows spinner is constantly visible.

Additionally, once I am down the ladder I can't move forward. I'm stuck in the same position.

Climbing down the ladder works fine, however when you try to climb back up, the screen pans up but the character stays at the bottom. Climbing down from this position pans the screen down, but the character stays at the bottom.

I found this issue too.

Also, right-click to walk as default would be great regardless of the current action and right-click hold to view the action menu popup?

The cycling behaviour with a trackpad is too quick. Is there something that could be done around this? Or would it fall under settings in the game?

Absolutely agree, is this something we should be ignoring?

When in the flooded elevator, using the eye tool, when you hover over the door lights it says '**Look elevator door lights' and when you click on the door lights you just get the same text.
