Hello! We are releasing a demo for our first game on Itch.io today. This is a small passion project by my wife and I as we wanted to deliver a cyberpunk 2D RPG with a unique style. This is our first game in a series we're calling "Penny RPG" because these will be games made with small budgets that aim to provide 8-10 hours of gameplay for those who like story driven RPGs.
The demo released here is a fairly early version of the game. It's missing some key things like skills, mods, side jobs, etc., but the goal is to get an idea of what the game is like and what we're trying to accomplish with it. I realize the game isn't the prettiest thing that ever existed, but I think the storytelling and RPG systems should be able to make up for that.
So give the game a try and let us know what you think. If you want to support the game, then it's available on Steam Early Access. The goal is to make a fun RPG that lovers of 2D RPGs will be able to enjoy and appreciate.
Thanks for taking the time to at least read over the information about our game. With so many games being released it's hard to get people excited and involved in small projects like this. I can't explain how happy I am that we've made it this far. My hope at this point is that people play our game and walk away feeling like they had a fun experience.
