What a lovely demo! I wonder what mechanics the next planets will unlock! I realized after finishing the demo that you can select a different language, and noticed a mistake when setting it to French: “back” should be translated to “retour” and not “dos” which means the back of something/somebody and not to go back ;)

It’s open source which means anyone can contribute to it, but it’s up to the contributor to mention the use of AI in their contribution. GB Studio 1.0 was released 7 years ago so it probably has close to none AI-generated/guided code in it, can’t say none because of what I explained above, but same thing can be said about any open source project at this point (unless they have a very strict disclosing policy but I doubt that’d fix the issue)

The game only works through Rosetta on macOS (26.6.1 for me) else it is stuck at the loading screen

That’s what I did on my first run, but on next runs I understood I only had to press space when there’s a gap, so idk what I am doing wrong

the game wasn’t running when i did that, i only launched it after deleting and renaming the files

thanks! so i deleted nonoSave.ufo and renamed nonoSaveBackup.ufo to nonoSave.ufo but it didn’t bring back my progress, i’m honestly not even sure i clicked “new game” i just remember opening the game one day and losing progress, i definitely don’t remember any “are you sure” prompt. idk might be on my end! i have no idea lol

same 😭 there should be a warning when you hit new game

help i think i accidentally hit new game instead of continue and i have no motivation to redo everything, i didn’t even get a “are you sure you want to start a new game popup” :( game is still superb even if somewhat hard for me, i might give it a go again someday

i guess i’m bad at nonograms (4th time i’ve been restarting this one)

So I think i’m not making any mistake in the goomba level (you just have to jump when there is no goomba right?) but i’m still getting a try again screen. Why is that?
