Interesting game! Some color combinations make it a bit too dark, at least for me. I would have loved a speed-up option, like a button to let the player sprint

Interesting game, not joking. Maybe adding some puzzles in the grid would give it more potential. I think the theme doesn’t fit too much with the game. 18/25

Really good art! I would have liked it to start slower, but that’s just because I’m bad haha. The components communicates really well with each other, which makes it feel very professional. Well done! It wasn’t a 5 in fun for me, but it was definitely pleasant 10 minutes, though maybe not for the customers since some of them left irritated 😅

This is a game that really makes you stop and understand it properly for it to work, it’s definitely not simple. I would have liked it to start easier (smaller grid, fewer options).

Gameplay is literally awesome, you have so many possibilities. Regarding the theme, I feel like it was achieved, so 5 stars in both. As for the art and music, they’re quite normal. The only thing that didn’t fully work for me was the 'fun' part. just trying to understand it wasn’t fun at first, so it took me a while to actually enjoy it, which takes away a few points. It’s definitely a game you can come back to multiple times. A really good job, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see it in the top rankings, gj!

Mine is also a puzzle game, but just a normal one, yours is way more polished

This is a super game, only a genius could make something like this. 25/25, very well done! Mine is similar, but without all the good stuff haha

I’m glad you liked the game and even said you’ll come back, nothing could make me happier than that 🤍
And as for a puzzle game, it’s pretty difficult 😅, and you’re right, there are quite a few things it’s still missing 😭

Thanks for playing it 🤍, and you’re right, there are quite a few things it’s missing :c

LOOL, great minds think alike Kappa. Your game is also really good, it feels very polished compared to mine haha, mine is Temu's version 🤣

done xd

Haha, very chaotic after a while with all the things drawn, really fun for the minutes I played. I felt it was missing a bit of difficulty and some new things falling down. A leaderboard/score system would add a lot

What I loved the most was the art, followed by the gameplay. Even though it didn’t have many mechanics, the dodge is really fun and well done as a mechanic. Ideas: a countdown to start, it feels too hard, maybe some feedback when the boss takes damage (besides just lowering the boss’s HP). I found the jump a bit weird. Overall, it has good gameplay, art, and sounds, but I don’t see much that really fits the theme. (2,4,5,3,2)

Good game, interesting mechanics, hard and fun 🤍

Maybe add some feedback when the big wisp takes damage, like a blink effect or a health bar. Also, a leaderboard would add a lot to this kind of game

You already have a score in that level, so you probably pressed the 'BLOOM'. In that case, you would need to press the restart or back button. Sorry if it’s not clear how to play 😭

Thanks for your suggestions 🤍, I’m glad you enjoyed the puzzles 🤗

Thanks for playing the game 🤍, your game was really good too!

I loved the transition between scenes, the music, and the art, solid 5. The other things were pretty normal (3 stars). It’s like an exploration game, but without the narrative. I missed an extra focus, either on the narrative (story , like some dialogue) or on puzzles or mechanics. Anyway, good job!

If that’s the case, I sincerely apologize. Even without the evidence, if you had just said “I made it in a week,” I would still apologize. I judged too quickly, and that was my mistake. I still have a lot to learn about game development, so thank you for your calm response

Hmm, it’s too complex and well done for a one-week jam ,24/25 stars. Minus 1 star because I’m a bit doubtful, sorry. If you really did this in just one week, maybe I can be Batman 😎. (If it actually took only one week, I apologize, but this is my honest thought/opinion

Or maybe I’m just a delusional guy who’s jealous of another team’s work?

The game feels too complete for a jam (I’m not saying you used extra time), but rather that I can’t fully explore the idea. The gameplay takes more time than I’d like for a jam game. If there were a creativity category, I’d rate it 5 stars. The dialogues and the connection with current times, like the jokes, are excellent. Overall, it’s a 4-star for me.

I liked the concept used in the jump 🤍. Even though it’s quite tricky, maybe an in-game tutorial would help, like a tooltip or a pop-up indicating how it should be done.

With more time, I think it could have been really good. The idea is there, but a lot of things are missing, like some feedback for the boss’s damage (maybe a blink), the difficulty starting easy and getting harder over time, some power-ups

Even with all those things missing, it’s still enjoyable, I had fun 🤍

The art is really good 🤍, and the gameplay is interesting, but the other things are pretty standard.

It would really add a lot to have a leaderboard. I also missed that some enemies didn’t die in just 1 hit, maybe that the 'game over' should happen when 1 plant dies, not all of them, and that the hammer’s point should match the actual hitbox square. Still, it fits the theme, and the gameplay/art/fun/sfx are ok ,3 stars in each one.

Very good job in just a few hours!

Really impressed!, it’s quite a difficult game. This doesn’t mean it isn’t fun, but since the learning curve starts off very steep, it would be better to go by levels, where new plants/insects are introduced little by little. (art 5, music 4)

Thanks for playing all the levels! 🤍, and sorry about the 3rd one 😭 I only have 300 IQ, so I thought that was the maximum score for that level.

As for your IQ, I’d say sometimes it’s 299 and other times it’s 301 😎

Really funny!! The only thing is, I’d prefer the same shape for the way they come in and the way they’re received

Noted! Appreciate the suggestion 🤗 And thanks a lot for playing 🤍

Thanks for your comment, the edit functionality could be a big improvement!

Thanks for playing 🤍

I'm glad you enjoyed it 🤍, and thanks for the suggestions 🤗

You are absolutely right, sorry for that 😭, and thanks for telling me the issues!

Oh, good point, I hadn’t thought about that, thanks 🤗

Indeed, you have 301 IQ 😎, I can’t update the score anymore so it’ll stay like that xD, thanks for playing 🤍

Interesting gameplay. Art and music are lovely 🤍. The '!' icons maybe should blink a bit, because everything feels very flat; I didn’t know where to go at the beginning xd

Interesting atmosphere. I felt the double jump was unnecessary. The art was quite good, but the only thing I missed was a plot twist.. I was left in suspense at the end. Or maybe that was the whole point 👁‍🗨🥀

Is it based on anything existing? - I don't know haha

The mechanic came from me wanting to make shapes, but I didn’t know how, so while I was configuring things, a couple of them ended up inverted, and I liked how just that already changed the puzzle quite a lot. So I made all of them inverted

You need 300 IQ for the 18 stars, looks like you only have 299 🤓☝

Thanks a lot for playing it 🤍

Lobeeeely bee, the only thing is the wind/thorns that fly diagonally, I didn’t know if they would hurt me or not xD

Done 🤗
