Interesting game! Some color combinations make it a bit too dark, at least for me. I would have loved a speed-up option, like a button to let the player sprint

Really good art! I would have liked it to start slower, but that’s just because I’m bad haha. The components communicates really well with each other, which makes it feel very professional. Well done! It wasn’t a 5 in fun for me, but it was definitely pleasant 10 minutes, though maybe not for the customers since some of them left irritated 😅
This is a game that really makes you stop and understand it properly for it to work, it’s definitely not simple. I would have liked it to start easier (smaller grid, fewer options).
Gameplay is literally awesome, you have so many possibilities. Regarding the theme, I feel like it was achieved, so 5 stars in both. As for the art and music, they’re quite normal. The only thing that didn’t fully work for me was the 'fun' part. just trying to understand it wasn’t fun at first, so it took me a while to actually enjoy it, which takes away a few points. It’s definitely a game you can come back to multiple times. A really good job, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see it in the top rankings, gj!
Mine is also a puzzle game, but just a normal one, yours is way more polished
What I loved the most was the art, followed by the gameplay. Even though it didn’t have many mechanics, the dodge is really fun and well done as a mechanic. Ideas: a countdown to start, it feels too hard, maybe some feedback when the boss takes damage (besides just lowering the boss’s HP). I found the jump a bit weird. Overall, it has good gameplay, art, and sounds, but I don’t see much that really fits the theme. (2,4,5,3,2)
I loved the transition between scenes, the music, and the art, solid 5. The other things were pretty normal (3 stars). It’s like an exploration game, but without the narrative. I missed an extra focus, either on the narrative (story , like some dialogue) or on puzzles or mechanics. Anyway, good job!
Hmm, it’s too complex and well done for a one-week jam ,24/25 stars. Minus 1 star because I’m a bit doubtful, sorry. If you really did this in just one week, maybe I can be Batman 😎. (If it actually took only one week, I apologize, but this is my honest thought/opinion
Or maybe I’m just a delusional guy who’s jealous of another team’s work?
The game feels too complete for a jam (I’m not saying you used extra time), but rather that I can’t fully explore the idea. The gameplay takes more time than I’d like for a jam game. If there were a creativity category, I’d rate it 5 stars. The dialogues and the connection with current times, like the jokes, are excellent. Overall, it’s a 4-star for me.
With more time, I think it could have been really good. The idea is there, but a lot of things are missing, like some feedback for the boss’s damage (maybe a blink), the difficulty starting easy and getting harder over time, some power-ups
Even with all those things missing, it’s still enjoyable, I had fun 🤍
It would really add a lot to have a leaderboard. I also missed that some enemies didn’t die in just 1 hit, maybe that the 'game over' should happen when 1 plant dies, not all of them, and that the hammer’s point should match the actual hitbox square. Still, it fits the theme, and the gameplay/art/fun/sfx are ok ,3 stars in each one.
Very good job in just a few hours!
Is it based on anything existing? - I don't know haha
The mechanic came from me wanting to make shapes, but I didn’t know how, so while I was configuring things, a couple of them ended up inverted, and I liked how just that already changed the puzzle quite a lot. So I made all of them inverted
You need 300 IQ for the 18 stars, looks like you only have 299 🤓☝
Thanks a lot for playing it 🤍
