Void Wake: Signal Reclamation is a solo dev space survivor/shooter, out now

Hey all I just released Void Wake: Signal Reclamation, a top-down space shooter I've been building solo.

You're a pilot answering a distress signal that turns out to be a trap. Fight through a campaign that unfolds as your ship's AI, VESPER, guides you deeper toward the source of a hostile Static that's converting derelict tech into an ever-growing swarm.

Beyond the 50-level campaign, there's:

  • Endless Survival — difficulty climbs forever, see how long you last
  • 5-Minute Blitz — dense waves, hard time limit, pure score chase
  • Boss Rush — every boss back-to-back, no mercy
  • Salvage Run (extraction mode) — dive into a debris field, bank salvage under mounting pressure, then survive a real extraction sequence (ship flies in, doors open, you fly out, it warps away) to bank what you've collected.
  • Daily/Weekly Challenges and Ghost Duel (race your own best runs) for re-playability

Full controller support (Xbox/PlayStation, everything re-bindable), and you can swap between a clean neon-vector art style or fully painted ship art anytime.

Free to play in browser - Full game — $4.99  https://oddbit-studios.itch.io/void-wake

Would genuinely love feedback, bug reports, or just impressions/suggestions. This was a solo build from the ground up and I'm still actively patching. Thanks for reading!

Here's a small video of the salvage run.

Enjoying Void Wake? Ratings and comments genuinely help more than almost anything else at this stage. If you've got a minute, a quick rating on this page (even just a star rating, no essay required) makes a real difference for a solo-dev release like this. And if something felt off, broke, or you just want more of something then drop a comment, I read every one, or use the in-game "Report a Bug" button for anything technical. Thanks for playing!
