Yes, it's still only LAN and it will stay that way for a while until the game is in a more finished state. 

However, you can 'make your own' online multiplayer by forwarding port 7777 from your internet router to your host PC. Ask your friends to enter your WAN IP address (google "what is my IP address" and it will tell you) and you can play with anyone in the world.

That's a great idea! Although this game is a re-upload of an old game of mine, I might update it at some point. I'll look into making the pitch size a scalable option.
