Yeah, it was exciting for me to see my work in an SSFF video--I really appreciate that channel for covering weird and technologically interesting games! Thank you for your kind comment and your support of TaiFab!

There are a lot of possible setups for playing this game, so I'm not sure what your specific controller issue may be. If you're playing in an emulator on your computer, it should hopefully have options for you to remap the controls. 🙂 I hope you can find a comfortable way to play!

Thanks for playing and sharing your thoughts! I'll keep them in mind. :)

You'll see the other four ducks after the 150 puzzle door. 🙂 I'm really glad you like TaiFab so far! I hope you have fun with the rest of the game! 😄

I'm so glad you had fun with TaiFab! Thanks for playing! :D

I'm glad you're having fun with TaiFab!

For both the alligator and the last Fish Power, it sounds like you might be missing a crucial item. Have you searched the bathtub in the inn? :)

Nice, I'll have to check out your game! There was a lot of good stuff in that video. :D I'm glad you like TaiFab so far! <3

So glad you enjoyed my weird little game! GG on getting completion! :D

Yay, glad you found the answer! Thank you so much for playing and commenting!

Thank you! I'm glad you like TaiFab! And it is kinda sneaky, isn't it? 😄

Thanks so much for playing and commenting! I hope these hints will help:

Missing puzzles hint: Have you tried sleeping in empty beds? There is more than one to sleep in. 🙂

Missing ducks hint: You can find four ducks before the ending and four more after the ending in the post-game area. 😄

Thank you so much for your support and I'm glad you enjoyed TaiFab!

The ability to run with the B-button is standard in the Plus version, so it doesn't need the debug boots. 😄 The run function in TaiFabPlus works exactly the same as the debug boots in the original release. I didn't make running the standard for the original TaiFab because it made the sprites shudder, but it doesn't do that on the GBC! Better processing power, I suppose. 🙂

Yay, I'm glad you liked TaiFab!! :D

Thank you for playing! I'm so glad you liked it! :D

I'm so glad you like TaiFab! I hope it runs well on your phone! 😄

lol, congratulations and GG!! 😄 Thank you for daring to enter my weird fish labyrinth. 🐟 I really appreciate your support!

I love Pathetique! It's one of my absolute favorites. 💖 🎶 Good choice for a screen name!

Thank you for playing and commenting! You're very kind! 😄

Yay, glad you found it! Let us know if you need any more hints! :D

Congratulations and GG!! 😄 I hope you enjoyed TaiFab!

Hint: Have you checked the fireplace in the inn? 🙂 Please let me know if you need any more help! Thank you for playing TaiFab!

Thank you so much for playing TaiFab! I'm really glad you like it! :D

That's not a stupid question, and I'm glad you asked! 😄 Yes, .gbc is a Game Boy Color compatible file. You can play TaiFab on a real Game Boy Color (if you have the right set-up) or on a GBC emulator. I personally use Bizhawk (https://tasvideos.org/BizHawk/ReleaseHistory) to play GBC games on my computer, but there are many emulators available. 🙂

Please let me know if you have any other questions, and I hope you enjoy TaiFab! I really appreciate your support!

Thank you so much for playing and supporting TaiFab! I'm so glad you liked it! 💖

I'm hoping to release Taiyaki Fabulous Test Kitchen by the end of this year. 🙂 However, I worked on another game which will hopefully come out next month! It's called Pixel Pup, and it will have lots of puzzles, including random puzzles!

So glad you found it! Thank you for playing TaiFab!! :D

Thanks for playing, and thank you for your kind comment! As for the missing puzzle:

Did you meet anyone who was thirsty? Can you give them water now? :)

Thank you for playing TaiFabPlus! I really appreciate your support!! 💖

I really enjoyed that video and added some of those games to my own to-play list! 😄 I hope you enjoy TaiFab and all the other awesome nonogram games out there! BTW, the video maker didn't mention Logiart Grimoire, but that's one of my favorites and I highly recommend it if you haven't already played it.

Yay, I'm so glad you enjoyed TaiFab! Thanks for playing and GG on 202% completion!!

Thanks for getting in touch! Please let me know if there's anything else I can help with!

GG on finding all the puzzles, and thank you for your kind comment! I'm so glad people enjoy my weird little game. :D

I hope you can get credit for your achievements!

Yeah, I'm working on a sequel called Taiyaki Fabulous Test Kitchen (GBC) that I am aiming to release later this year! I'm also collaborating with Matt of Retro Dot Cards on Pixel Pup (GBA), and we will probably release it in the next month or so. 😄 Thanks so much for your interest in my games!

Thank you for your thoughtful comment! GG on completing every puzzle!! :D

Oh, nobody was really downloading the .pocket file for the browser version, so I didn't bother to generate one for TaiFabPlus! I'm not in a good situation to do that right now, but I could possibly take a look at it later

I don't have an Analogue Pocket, so I don't really know its technical specs, but can it play .gb ROMs as well as .pocket games? 🙂 (When I put out the first .pocket file, I had to ask a friend of mine to check it for playability. He's in the credits because of that! 😄)

Unfortunately, TaiFabPlus is actually a totally different game from the browser release! I revised the code a lot and the variables are all mapped differently, so the saves are not compatible. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you so much for playing TaiFab and for your kind comment!! 💖

Yeah, unfortunately TaiFabPlus is verrrrrry different--I significantly revised the code, so although it has mostly the same player-facing content as the free version, it's actually a different game. You can see this comment from the person who developed the RetroAchievements integration:

Layton: A paid Plus version was released, there are a lot of under-the-hood changes so it would be difficult to add support for it here. I don't know if it has enough new content to get its own set either. I'll look into it further, but for now the free version is all that is supported.

At any rate, I really appreciate your kind comment and I'm so glad you like TaiFab! 💖

Have you tried exploring north of the museum? 🙂 Thank you so much for playing and commenting!

BTW, I'm so sorry for this really late reply! Itch buries the pending comments in a sub-sub-menu, so I had no idea these comments existed until a couple days ago!

Have you tried checking the area north of the museum? 🙂 (Sorry for the very late reply on this! I only just discovered the pending comments menu! I think Itch's interface for that is pretty bad.) Thank you for playing!

It says 'taiyaki.' :D

Thank you for your thoughtful suggestion and comments! I'm so glad you enjoyed TaiFab!! :D

I'm glad you found the last puzzle, congrats!! And wow, TaiFab really is being played in all sorts of circumstances! Thank you for sharing that and also for your kind comment. <3
