Hmmm... I think maybe adding some kind of progression could be nice! Maybe only unlock healing after you cleared room 1, for example!
Then there's also the art for the enemies (love em, they're so goofy and charming!): I'd make them more visually different. Don't be afraid to change it up! You could have a really, really small enemy, but also really, really big enemies! They can be skinny, fat, menacing, cute, anything! It's all up to you!!

I'd say the difficulty was just right. I was able to adapt as the attacks got harder and harder (love the fact that there are many different attacks, i think there were 5?). I'd make the abilities/controls appear mid-fight rather than show ALL OF THEM at the very beginning. I really, REALLY liked this game!!
I FRICKING LOVE THIS GAMEEEE!!!! let me just say this (because i just did this): THE LAST FIGHT WAS AMAZIIING!!! It was hard, but fair. when failing, I knew it was my mistake and not luck based.
Also, I like the fact that you don't add a tutorial, but instead make the game progressively harder (with more complex enemies). The controls are simple and easy to understand, which is awesome for a fighting game.
The only thing I would change is the swaying. when you sway to avoid a super attack, you have to do it rather early. I think you should be more lenient and allow the player to dodge the super even if you do it right before getting hit. I got used to it after some time, but at first, I found it pretty annoying.
Oh and I would also put more emphasis on the story (you give a small description to all characters/have them congratulate you/etc.) However, I know you probably didn't have enough time for all of these extras. It's just a suggestion!
Art is truly wonderful (love the art style). Sound effects and music are really fitting. Concept is amazing. I didn't submit a game myself, so I couldn't rate this beauty. So I'll do it here (this is after having played and commented 5 other games in this game jam):

great game, really! I'd recommend making the flashlight range bigger, making the visibility better, but adding some kind of consequence so that you can't just constantly spin your mouse wheel. Like that, you'll make the game easier, but also harder, all while making the game more appealing. love the concept!
The art is really cute! Love how the hair and the cap are flapping around when moving!! Also very original story and concept. However, I encountered a bug: fish can spawn at an unreachable area at the very bottom of the map. I tried pressing f again to search for more fish, but it didn't do anything and I also tried wandering around to find fish without the princess's spell, but that didn't work out either. But it's fine!
