Thank you for this incredible experience.

I’m usually a bit skeptical about full 3D audio games, because I often find it difficult to orient myself in them.

However, many design choices here make the gameplay very accessible: simply opening a door places you directly in the adjacent room, the walls are easy to perceive, open spaces have clear reverb cues, and you can’t accidentally move backwards.

The atmosphere also deserves a mention. Honestly, it gave me chills, a bit like the Alien film series by Ridley Scott. I absolutely love this kind of mood: the events that trigger, what you hear on thewalkie-talkie, the very high-quality voice acting… Sigourney Weaver, aka Ellen Ripley, would better watch out.

Finally, the puzzle system is extremely clever. It’s simple to understand, yet I still spent about twenty minutes going back and forth on the final puzzle before having the “aha” moment. But that’s also part of what makes it enjoyable.

Thank you!

A very good concept with full 3D space.

I love the sound design, with the engine sounds responding to the way I press the stick on my gamepad.

The game could seem a bit hard to have in hands at the beginning, because of the 3 axis, the notion of distance. But I finally had fun, really.

The snarky AI is absolutely fantastic. This really make the difference when quickly testing/rating several games in the context of a jam.

Thank you!

One of these games you download, you launch, and you play and have fun without reading any documentation.

In-games announcements are not necessary in my oppinion. Let's the soundscape tell everything by itself.

A scoreboard or some kind of things would be welcome.

Very good game !

Hi,

OK, I had not realized that strafing only works in bipedal mode. Maybe I should have read the documentation more.

No need to bother with shaping the inputs in my opinion.

Thanks very much.

Hello ShiftBacktick,

Y absolutely love this experience too. The desert of this low-gravity moon, the relaxing sound ambiance, the sensation of speed when rolling fast and bumping in the ice with my vibrating Xbox 360 game controller provide some hardly describable pleasure.

Moreover, the crafting system gives a goal to the exploration, which is really cool.

Yesterday, just for fun, I climbed to 50km with the jump jet ... I know this takes a while. I wanted to see if the synths could support this and render the terrible speed I would have when falling just before hitting the ground. This was incredible ... no sound stuttering but an extremely hypnotic synthetic atmosphere.

One possible bug however. I have the impression pushing the left stick left and right cause the exosuit to go backward and forward, instead of strafing left/right. Could you check and confirm?

Again, thank you for your work.

Olivier
